Newb's Own First Grow - AK-47s

we all chop early on our first grow, it looks like u got some decent smoke though man best of luck.

NEWB's Own First Harvest!!

114 days ago, I knew nothing about growing. 114 days ago I didn't really know how nutes worked, I didnt understand grow lights, I didnt know what to do with the DWC I built. 114 days ago I didn't know anything about growing.

It was a long haul, with the delay in veg with a few 'learning curves' but it was soooo satisfying to cut everything down, and just see nothing but BUD.

We set up shop, layed out paper, and watch's Net's recomendation, "The Business of Getting High" (RECOMMEND)


It was time to chop two of the three girls (Sway and Jane)

But.... CRAPOLA!!! I was a little too high and a little two chop-happy and before I knew it I accidently chopped Fox's (the third girl I was leaving for awhile longer) main stalk clear off!!!!!


Everything, chopped, trimmed, and piled up...


Sway still was the fattest


Jane's was still the frostiest...


Fox's still need to grow a bit more :-/...


All-in-all... not the biggest yield by any means... but one thing is for sure, it is QUALITY. Already I'm getting a whiff of that pure AK-47 love... the smell took me back to when I was smoking their momma LOL.

I had many issues, from veg, to hermies, a bit of root-rot or nute lockout (not sure)... many things to learn from and improve on... get ready for the Sequel coming in a couple weeks....!!!!!! Blackberry X G13 (most likely)

looks good man, if u weigh it wet minus 75-80 percent and that will be ur dry weight. how many seeds are in the herms? those should be female seeds unless a male made those

Haven't weighed yet, i'll just weigh it when dried... think 1oz... 1.5???

Not sure of the seeds, honestly haven't seen any, but haven't look much either, there were no males at all in the grow so they are from the herm's if there are any... so yeah, I'm actually hoping for a few seeds! lol

yea ull want some seeds in this case, very nice to have feminized ak47 lol. I would guess a Oz have they been under HPS the whole time? if CFLs are used the buds fluff out and are airy when dried but are still good.

Yeah they had a 150HPS all during flower (and a good bit of veg)... then in the last 2 weeks or so I added some daylight CFLs I had lying around to the bottom....

noice ull have some pretty dense nugs then. u rocking the econo light 150s? thats what i use but 3 of them

Nice man... yeap its the econo! I was going to get a 2nd for the next grow to use side-by-side, but they stopped selling the 150 the next HPS they have is like $99 or something...

holy shit they did that sucks. Buy a 400 watter for 150 somewhere IMO then. im buying a 1000w pretty quick here

damn.. i just sat and read through almost all of this thread. Leggo sweet grow man! I hope to be in your shoes in the next few months.
I am pretty sure I will be going back through this thread to get some pointers along the way.

CONGRATS LEGGO!! Nothing like your own harvest!! FROM START TO FINISH!! We both have learned some very key things on growing and have since then grown for it! I bet our next grows are gonna be spectacular!

if u wanna know how they will be turn the oven on too 125 and put a bud on for like 5 mins at a time till its done. Ull see the true size of the nugz ull flip a lid and how small they get lolol and the smoke isnt too bad ull get a litle teaser of what itll be like

I am amazed at your grow! I just started a grow journal last night on here and I really hope that my plants get to be just as beautiful as yours although mine are Medical White Rhino. Love the names for them though! Jolie is an awesome actress...especially with a gun.
