i am currently growing a AI under some cfl's for vegging and cloning purposes to put outside thinking of trying to flower her with cfl's after im done cutting all i want.

but you need a ph tester i found that out quick i just got one week and half ago.If you dont mind i'll post a pic of her.

I just harvested my AI, and I had one just like yours growing sideways then up, turned out to be the main cola of 2 plants and it was freaking awesome. The yellow spots i did not have however, I am a nubbie, just thought i would share about the leaning part. Hope it helps,
PS Get ready for some SERIOUS bud. I was never a two hit wonder. But I am now and it lasted much lonegr

Funny you say that, because my previous AI plant (the only other one I've grown) was lacking in potency. It was pretty fluffy and VERY hairy; whatever that indicates. It seemed quite dank while it was growing, but ended up disappointing, so maybe I didn't harvest/cure it correctly, even though I followed the standard procedure.

The plants have grown nicely. They're looking healthy and strong overall, but the spots persist. I'm now leaning toward hot spots for the cause, but people have said space blankets do not have that problem :confused:. It took a few day, but I think my FIM job is starting to show. I'll do the others today. Prob should have done them all at once, but I wanted to wait and see. The one in the top left on the first image has really skinny leaves; guess it's just its phenotype? I've heard Nirvana's strains very quite a bit.

Just as I've diagnosed my previous issue (water on the leaves), another has arose. I noticed some rusty-brown patches on some upper leaves today, and some general discolorations. I moved the plants lower, in case it's been caused by the lamp, but I don't think they were too close. I also got a ph tester from my friend. It's a soil tester, correct? I stuck it in some muddy soil (I believe that's how you use this variety) and it read 6.5 almost exactly. Oh and, time to re-pot soon??View attachment 1586173

Those meters arent that good. Nor is the food. Your plants are young and if your feeding them i would hold off for a bit. Depending on your soil. I would flush them with plain water.

test the soil in a couple spot when you test it. make sure the rod is clean and shined also. IMO your plants are not to young to feed. start at 1/4 strength and work your way up.

Yea I think a flush is in order. I'll let them dry out, then give em a good douching. My last AI plant took more than double the dose of FF nutes and never once showed nute burn, so I will prob keep them on some, but start small like redrum said. And maybe a re-potting??

In my experience with Nirvana Aurora Indica Plants.
When they are Young, they DO tend to get nute burn easily.
But when they are more mature, especially in flower-mode,
then they do fine with full strength nutes.

And of course each plant is different, especially with the Nirvana seeds. I've seen a LOT of variation in their phenotypes; AIs that were tall and almost Sativa-like, and then purple phenos too.

Ok, I need some advice. I have a new bulb I could use, a Sunmaster Warm Deluxe 400w MH. It produces a 3200k light, while my current bulb, a Sylvania Metalarc, produces 4000k light. The Sunmaster's box says it covers almost the whole spectrum, with blues and reds. The Sylvania bulb was in the light when I got it, and I have no idea how long it's been used. It is supposed to make 36,000 lumen, while the new one makes 38,000. Obviously cooler tones are better for the veg cycle, but maybe this bulb is overall the better choice? So should I switch the bulbs now or wait till flowering (I have no HPS light unfortunately)??

sounds like swapping the bulb would be a good thing if you dont know how old the one your running now. you can get hps conversion bulbs online for $40 or less shipped. if you do swap the bulb let us know how your plants react to the new bulb.

i would use a leaching solution with the water. it will help brake down any built up salt in the soil. ive noticed better results using it over not using it.

Last night the plants looked fine, although a bit droopy, but I wasn't worried. I woke up this morning to find them drooping like they're on their death beds. What gives??? I don't see how I could have over or under watered them, seeing as how I wait till the soil is dry a couple inches down. Other than that, what could cause this condition?
