if the pots are light, i would water them. feel how heavy they are first. if they bounce back after watering them, then you'll know not to let them get that light. each plant may need to be water/fed on different days.

I've been doing them all at once, so yea that's prob a good idea to check them individually. Good news is they have recovered completely. Amazing how much they can change over night. They're lookin' perkier and healthier then ever!
What's your opinion on a re-pot? They're getting pretty tall now

i check the root to see if they need to be repotted. when i pull the plant from the pot, and there is a shit load of root. it's time to transplant lol. hydro is the only this that everything gets water/fed at the same time IMO. each soil/soilless plants should always be checked each day. well everything should be checked every day doesnt matter what your growing in pots or a huge hydro system. things change from day to day. the sooner you start to fix a problem the sooner it can be corrected.

Thanks for all the help redrum, it's appreciated.
So, these plants of mine continue to grow. All three definitely have their own characteristics, so it will be interesting to to see how they develop.
The first one I fimmed didn't seem to take to it. It just kept growing after some delay, with no addistionl shoots visible. Maybe I cut to high or something, but anyways, I cut her again. The other two are thankfully responding as hoped to the fim. One has two defined shoots, and I believe more coming underneath those. The other also looks to have taken to the cut.
The one I photographed from the top has the most pungent smell of the three. It may be the best of the bunch, because I think I can already see some trichome formation on the leaves. Is that nossible/normal? They all definitely have a bit of a hashy-smell already though. The tightness of the nodes and vegetation has me excited to see what they can do in flowering!

Thank you. They're probably between 1'-1.5' tall. Really need to get them into new pots, I think they're starting to get root bound by now. Meant to this weekend, but couldn't. As for my flowering time, I think I'll probably give them another week or two. I know the AIs grow a lot during flowering. Oh, and I have a HPS ballast now

Showing some pre-flowers? Got some white hairs going on. The one I fimmed twice has some burnt leaves again

Red; these seeds are feminized (prob should have mentioned that), so I was expecting the hairs, just surprised they came this early. Does that always happen with females? They're still on 18/6 schedule. The new pots are 5 gallons so yea pretty big! Should give em plenty of room to grow on out in flowering. The nute I use is really potent and sticky, and I think it may of been on my fingers. A bit of that rubbed on the leaves I would have to think. My PH read at 6.4 after that meter sat for a while in freshly watered soil. I don't think they're experiencing any deficiencies as far as I can tell.

the hairs are pre-flower, i veg my plants to that point or 10-12" tall. that means your plant is mature now, so when you flip the lights it should start making buds within a week. seeing's how their fem seeds i would watch for balls once you go into flower, just in case.

My grow box is quickly becoming quite the jungle, despite the fact that I moved the light up about 3 inches and dug the gravel down to give them more space. It was getting 100+ (at the top of the plants, measured with a multimeter) degrees before I raised it. Gotta kick them into flower this weekend. One of them has always had really spindley, skinny leaves, almost like a sativa. Mostly it's just the new growth; you can see what I'm talking about in the pics. It's strange, but just a pheno variation I suppose. But yeah they're all real bushy and nice.

looking good dude. the spindle leafs on top normally show that the soil ph is to high and locking out micro nutes from the plant, if i can remember correctly.

I have officially put these ladies into 12/12 today, for the simple fact that they will hit the ceiling if i wait any longer (and they still might). I need to get a reflector and bulb this weekend for my HPS ballast. Not to mention nutes (any suggestions??) How much does a typical circular reflector for my space cost?
As for the PH, after using my soil tester multiple times, it continues to read 6.4, which is alright I think. Besides, those leaves only occur on the one plant, leaving me to think it must be the pheno. My fingers are still crossed for a purp pheno

Running a 400w HPS now, with a 'Hortilux Super HPS" bulb.Using a new reflector also. Picked up Canna Terra Flores for a flowering nutrient. Will this be the only nute necessary for great buds?? Any recommendations for this stage of growth? I'm trying to make these plants as close to perfect as possible.

Two of the plants really have spindely, almost 'sativa', leaves. Their new growth is pale and thin. Id don't like it. Maybe a calcium deficiency or something? The other looks like a real indica, with some juicy fat leaves. The flash from my camera drains the color right out. They're really a nice green in person. One picture is a comparison between the a skinny bastard and the more luscious lady.
