Nitrogen nutrients or heat stress problem?

dank,
If i were you id take those majorly deformed fan leaves off. this will help the plant concentrate on growing, rather than mending the sick leaves.
If the leave has a good amount of good green surface leave it be. but from what i see the most of them could be pulled.

for the link its in harvesting and curing under thanks riu.
and again thanks for the props.
one thing that youll find out while growing, their is a million and one ways to grow. and very few people grow in the same way. or agree in the same manner on how to fix plant problems. my methodology is.
cannabis is a weed, it can and will grow anywhere, what were doing as cultivators of cannabis. is controlling the necessary conditions to meet our needs, ie; potency, resin, yield, etc. Time is your best friend when it comes to growing. I like to do one thing at a time to see if it helps my plants, thats where the time issue comes to play. all the expert growers on riu have grown for 20+ years and went threw the same thing that me and you are.
peace and good luck

i know you sound like you know wat your talking about! i added that epsom salt and watered them, when the light turns on il snap more recnt pics, those ones were from a couple days ago! also do i cut all the fan leafs???? the ones that are deformed and have the yellow crispy on them??? thanks alot candylime for helping me, appreciate it

Yes cut out the bad leaves, if its just the tips id leave them alone.
peace

ok, i havent cut anything yet, i plan on cutting off some portions off the bottom of the plant too, they would just be small weak buddlets! heres some pics i just took (day 7) i fucked up on this grow, the plants are too tall and stringy! im going to tie them down tomorrow before it gets too late, the hood cant be moved anymore and the plants are like 14 inches away from it already

remember not to pull things to drastically, gently a little at a time.
move them a bit every day. ive done this many times to hard and end up pulling branches off. hows your temps, make sure you have a fan near the top of your plants to help dissipate the heat.
on the good side things aren't looking that bad, and look at every thing that your learning with this grow.
peace

my temps got up to 95F last night! so dont tie them all the way down at once?? move them down and more down everyday until the are horizonal, my stems are really hard! when i bend it it moves the whole plant lol

Id look into getting that temp down, if you can. 95 is on the scorch side, and the heat being high like that could be causing some of the deformity.
and yes pull them down a little at a time, just be careful if the branches are ridged. you could try the super crop thing but i think that id really hurt your operation.
super cropping is basically what your doing but a little more harsh than training ( like your attempting ) super cropping: pinching the branches to break down the fiber tissue, breaking membranes and allowing the plant to re grow in that position. but this could add time on your harvest and is usually done a couple of weeks before light change.
just tie them lightly with some yarn tied loosely. this works great for me.
good luck peace

I see a lot of things going on. First & foremost, the severe burning of your leaves at the edges (to the point of drying to a light brown & turning crisp) is a major sign that the plants cannot transpire enough water. Think heat exhaustion for us in the middle of the desert, but that we don't have any sweat glands, they've closed up... we wouldn't make it very long. This is exacerbated by the nute levels, which become toxic at higher temps, i.e., you can run a much higher nute level at lower temps whereas the same nute level will burn the s*** out of them @ 82F+. The fact that all they want is water is also akin to giving us a salty margarita while suffering heat exhaustion in the middle of the desert. Much of the fluids is unavailable to us & the other shit (alcohol & salt) only dehydrate us faster. The ridges & curling of the leaves are clear indicators along with the raised, burnt, dry edges. There is likely a radical pH shift about to happen in the medium as well, if not already. The foliar spray, again, contributes to the stress on the plants, especially if applied heavy to the point of pooling along with high heat & direct light. Adding a 1000w is only making things more stressful & damaging. They are in dire straights right now (u alone in the desert with nothin but margaritas, and now the sun is reaching the highest point & u'r shade-umbrella just blew away). First, get them out of the heat. Second, flush, flush, flush & a very low nute (with LKarma @ 1ml/gal). Properly pH & keep the total ppm's no higher than 400 for the next week. Third, raise the light levels until they rebound, especially with the 1000w. Fourth, unless the populations of insects are terribly bad, don't foliar them anymore. They need help right now as there are a number of factors contributing to their current condition. Critical care. Best (I'm not being harsh, just no easy explanation).

wat hills u in, nor cal???
i would say its def a nute prob, when is the last time u gave it nutes??? it should be water, water, nutes, water, water, nutes!!! you get it???? give the plant time to use all the nutes becasue it stores some away so if u watered last time with nutes thats your problem, give it some time, i would take all your plants and flush them with phed water! it sounds like its a nute problem so flush them asap and u will notiuce a change in a few days to a week! also i would suggest 1/4 or 1/2 strength

Dank
