No growth on Auxiliary shoots

So I think I know what happened but I'm still unsure so I'll take it to roll it up.

This is kalifa Kush from seed. Been 4 weeks or so since I dropped the seed in soil. Everything seemed to be going well til I noticed no growth in auxiliary shoots and droopy. I went to top it and that's when I noticed " yesterday ". About a week ago I did a light prune job because the first node leafs were very yellow and dying. I figured it was because it's old growth and I wanted to put the plants energy towards new growth so I cut em off. Looking back I think I cut off the COTYLEDONS however I thought it would be fine considering how big the plant is and that it had 4 nodes above it already so... With that said I think I fkd up. The plant is still alive and a healthy green but is definitely stunted. Any suggestions ?

Grow info:

- Soil (promix HP)
- Lights (HLG65)
- Temperature 25C & 65% Humidity
- Lights are 24" above plants.
- Cycle 18/6
- Water ph'd at 6.5 with kelp
- Strain Kalifa Kush from seed

I topped my one plant on Christmas and then yesterday I bent her in half and tied that bitch down. Tied every limb back . . In the process of being rough I ripped off one of the first single leaves . I removed the other . And my cotoyledons are yellow so I ripped them off too . This morning . I had to adjust every tie down because she vigorously has already raised herself to the light . Moral of the story is , I’d be amazed if removing the cotoyldone stunted your plant to a stand still . They only need them for nutrients to get started . Some stay green and never fall off , some get used and fall off . If yours are green , I’d imagine the plant never used them to begin with , this meaning she ain’t gonna miss them ..... just my opinion

You will have growth if you you lst it . There’s growth between the nodes it’s hella tiny . It’s not getting light . Hence why it’s so tiny . Lst it and top or fim and it’ll take off . It’s only been 4 weeks lol give her some more light and time . You wanna talk about “ whys “ explain Captain Hook to me ? Lol good luck with your grow man

Could be the strain. Some strains dont have much lateral branching. You could try and use that, clone it and run a ton of single cola plants

I was gonna say she came out upside down, but then i see the shell sitting there....

Pinch/twist at every new internode. It causes auxin and cytokinin release. You need to train her, pinching, supercropping etc. In veg we want to build structure with as many even nodes as possible.

Do you foliar feed with kelp? Cheers!

I do mist with plain ph'd water but not with kelp.

Breech birth. Bet if you dug it up you would find the cotyledons down under the soil, lol.
Had that happen with one of my seeds. I dug it up and flipped it over before the root could bend around towards the soil. Planted it right side up with the leaves above the soil and the dumb bastard poked it's root back above the soil. Kept growing that way till it died.

Sorry, no pics. Whole thing was kind of embarrassing at the time.
