North Korea says its missiles can reach US

No, the nukes dropped on Japan had altitude/pressure sensors that detonated the bomb, as designed, you fucking retard.

Do you SERIOUSLY think they detonate on impact? Is this the fucking 40's or something? They're not fired by artillery pieces anymore genius.

Tell me specifically how an impact causes a nuke to go critical?
A pressure sensor huh?
And what type of sensor, senses an impact, clever one?
LOLOLOLOL

Just because I related impact to hitting the Earth, does not mean that you can't trigger the catalytic reaction in another way. You can start the catalytic reaction required to detonate the warhead in many different ways. My example just happened to be the simplest to talk about on here. Hell you can detonate a nuke underwater.

Furthermore, if you are sending a missile intercontinental, you are most likely going to remotely detonate it.

I haven't watched it yet, but your video serves NO purpose. I've clearly stated several times that North Korea hasn't shown off, all of what they have.

Do you believe our government educates you on our newest and most innovative technologies? LOL HELL NO! High end technology becomes commercial on average 20 years after the government has discovered better.

Lithium Ion batteries are a great example.

those nukes were made 60 years ago dude

are you saying Russias technological power house is stock from the 60's

LMAO! you lost... face it... North Korea was so proud that they invited in outside news agencies from other countries. The rocket launch lasted 81 seconds... kinda like you

No. I think you guys are misplaying my whole nuke going off. I brought up old technology, because you claim they can't even devise a rocket that can reach space (We did in the 70s).
We all already know they didn't have a warhead in that rocket, I hope, as well as they didn't give this their best attempt.

If that was their best attempt, and they were going to try send it to the US, obviously they would put a warhead in it, and I'm pretty sure they would succeed except for the fact we would destroy it

Here's some basic logic for you. If they REALLY had no ability to send a weapon to the US, why would we even worry about them? North Korea is HIGH on our radar list for the EXACT reason that we speculate that they DO possess the ability to harm us. What are they going to do, shoot us with AKs thousand of miles away?

I don't even want to continue this argument because you are obviously naive due to a mixture of ignorance and arrogance.

e;
LOLOL I just watched the video and are you kidding me! You are basing the fact that they CANNOT POSSIBLY get an object to space because of one rocket failure? Shit man, we've had a Space Shuttle explode shortly after launch in the atmosphere. And that is a rocket we put a great deal of effort into making sure all possible faults and malfunctions WONT occur.

Dude your bicycle won't go backwards, regardless of how fast you back pedal.
What am I trying to take back?

The only part of my argument that has been misconstrued is that I mentioned that if they had indeed gone all out, and that rocket did indeed contain and warhead, it most likely would have went ka-boom on malfunction.
Everything else I said remains

You do understand that you are arguing that a country we find to be particularly high risk, can't even send a rocket into space? The original argument is that North Korea does not possess nukes that can reach the US. I argued otherwise. Why don't you refute my statement that if they were indeed this lacking in terms of technology, then why do we even keep an eye on them?

Youre drunk on that Koolaid obviously. If you think altitude/atmospheric pressure sensors involve "hitting the ground" then you've zero credibility to discuss ANYTHING. Good day to you sir.

Pro-tip;

The whole point of altitude and atmospheric sensors on the old bombs was that they DIDN'T hit the ground ;)

didnt they plan to explode like just above the surface so as to not have the blast weakened by the detonating part of the bomb being in or under ground

As someone else has pointed out on the first page...

Even if this is true, it doesn't matter because they know they would get stomped, why attempt it?

I'm willing to take that chance.

I actually feel kinda bad for being so ignorant to fb360, especially after I saw this picture he uploaded of himself:

Wow you are dumb.

I said that impact senors, ones that sense hitting the ground, ARE ALSO PRESSURE SENSORS. Learn to read man.
Just because you change the amount of pressure it takes to flip the switch, doesn't mean it isn't a pressure sensor. I clearly explained earlier that I used impacting the ground because it is the more simple example, which demonstrates the exact same concept (detonation upon pressure; impact in my example).

They set the nuke to detonate above the ground so that the nukes range of effect will be greater. In fact, they try to detonate it so that its range of effect is greatest.

Don't even reply dude, you're not even in this conversation. You keep trying to pull this "politcal" argument/debate bullshit tactic of trying to convince me and yourself that I'm incorrect, while not responding to the clear, factual evidence I have brought forward. The worst part is, you haven't made a reasonable point yet that is in opposition of what I'm actually arguing! You're a time waster

This thread is full of fail.

The US had nukes before they could go into space.

They had rockets capable of space flight in the 60's, not 70's.

Fat man and little boy detonated in the air. There was no impact causing detonation. Edit: I see he backtracked on that one.

Nukes are made to survive explosions of their carrying vehicle.

You do realize that we delivered those nukes over Japan by bomber airplanes, right?

Funny how dumb asses believe what N.Korea says. Shows how much this cut and paste idiots knows..For the record N.Korea is lying. They do NOT have the capabilities to do this...The N.Korea leaders also say that N.Korea is a beautiful place to live and all her citizens are happy and content.
