Northern lights- 31 days in flower

Hmm..Bush master is supposed to be used two weeks prior to bloom...did you really use two weeks into bloom? I have used this product with perfect results, so, maybe you need to read the directions...

Well, I did read the directions,, maybe I missed something. But I did add this as directed by hydro store owner.. I only used it during the first week of bloom. Hell, There is a good possiblility I used Bush Master incorrectly. But I found a whole thread on another site about Bush Master and how people were complaining about it. But hey, all in all, it did what I wanted it to do. I wanted my plants to stay short, and they stayed short.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. And Daddy, if I ever use Bush mater again, or any other new product, I will read the directions three times...lol
I am going to the hydro store tomorrow, I will read the directions again.

Kaya, NL seems to be a pretty good strain to grow. I will not really know what I think about it, until I smoke some though...LOL.. I will let you know then. I think it will be some good stuff though.
 
munchbox, do you know what Bushmaster is for?

From what you said, I do not think so.

Hell even the people who developed it do not know much about it,, right on the bottle they give a disclaimer stateing use at your own risk, this is experimental, or something like that.
 
bushmaster was developed by an old timer in the hills about 2 hours from here in humboldt county. gravity is a bud hardner. i kn ow sounds wierd, but use it with bushmaster says the old man.... I use purple maxx snow storm stacker paccks a punch. It will give you the tightly stacked node regions same as the bushmaster, but will also give you crystalization

Hey LDB, I re-read my post, and I sounded a bit like a pomp ass dick with my "did you read the directions" sorry about that, I just think the product does exactly what it states it does when used correctly for the strain. I like to use is as a foliar spray, and really only on sativa's when I am growing alot of them, sog. Yeah I don't know why your local guy would suggest that you use it during Bloom, but my take on the stuff is that it kick starts the bloom cycle while it is still in Veg. So, the plant stops stretching and starts budding quickly. Another great product for that is Bud Blood from Advanced Nutrient..I picked up a bottle of Gravity, but my buds are solid enough on this grow, so it will have to wait until I think I need it! Do you have any thoughts about your UVB light?
 
Hmmm, the UVB has been on for 3 light cycles. I do not see much difference at this time. But I think 3 light cycles is way to soon to notice anything. Pretty sure this does not work like magic, it should take a while. But when I look in close at the buds and such with a magnifing glass, i see a lot more trich glands. I am figureing they should really be sparkleing in 4-6 more days.

My next grow, which will be Trainwreck, I will put the UVB light on like 3 plants only, that way I can tell a little better. As it is, I have it over to one side of my crop. So the one side is getting way more of the UVB light then the other side.

Maybe 4 hours at 8% UVB is to much, maybe I should lower the amount of time, and build it up, just like you should with Nuts and regular lights at first. What do you all think? Maybe I am hurting my plants. Does not seem to be at this point though.
 
are you concerned that irregular light patterns will give you hermies? maybe you should keep the uvb's on the full 12 hours
 
OH!!! DADDY.. You mentioned about solid buds.. These Buds are rock solid. I have lightly sqeezed a few and they did not feel fluffy at all.

They are really starting to swell in the last 3 days I know that.

Yeah man, I don't know, I have no experience with UVB so I can't give you much advice. But, I like that you are isolating a few plants, you should be able to make some sense of things after awhile! GL, I look forward to seeing your progress!
 
I heard that if you use to much gravity on the wrong strain, that you can end up with rocks for buds, seriously! Cool man, nice to hear that your grow is going well. How is your humidity? If your buds are super tight, you should stay aware of mold problems...Just a thought..
 
I am shooting for harvesting on January 9th. So New Years day I will switch over the Staight PH'd water with some of the advanced clearex in it. I usually only use straight water for the last 7-10 days, but a friend talked me into giving this Clearex a try. Anyone use this stuff? Any suggestions on it? I hate to miss use another new product. All of my Soup mix is new this go around. except for small things like Calmag and stuff.

As a matter of fact, would you please remove yourself from the Gene Pool? It would be best for man kind if you did.
