I bow to the noted true original. Dove tailed top. Too many fishing trips or hits. But the top on mine split after years. Was content with loose tolerance mass produced of over 10 years ago. Now feeling inadequate.

I recently had to scrape the dovetail.
Kief was clogging the slide and made opening it less than optimal.
 
My bowl is made of fossilized walrus ivory

I've had it since ~1988

I got it from "junkie Ray" who was my weed connect at the time

he was a kind person, but a junkie

about 15 years later, I met a guy who recognized the pipe as being the work of someone called "Jingles" who sold them at the Eugene Saturday Market

Major score. The fossilized walrus never made successful-species status.
 
Went old school. Rolling in the bathroom. Smoking in the bedroom. Almost regret not buying those alligator clips with feathers for the laugh now. Nah. Hemos are the chitt.
