Hay everyone.

Feel so dumb, your all sitting there with your mass homegrown stuff and im scared about a little stash like this :/. But none the less, i still have a problem. I bought this 5 days ago. It smelt fucking good. & now, literally just checked it about an hour ago. Next to no smell but its not just that, it also looks kind of ,well.. as if its struggling slightly to survive. A few tiny brown strands. Ive been reading up on mould and how dangerous it is, so i thought the best thing to do is check with you guys.

I have been searching for a while, cause i was skeptical of just waltzing in and demanding questions but i have no other choice now lol. :( I couldn't find a definitive answer has to whether A-Will the way it is now affect the amount of high i get/or if its even normal!?. & B-Will i die, jk, is there anything i can do to prevent this?

Read stuff about curing.. because my friend did say its still slightly damp :S. Any replies would be freaking awesome. Im pretty gutted at the moment about this.

After it is cut and starts drying, the hairs that are still white turn brown. When you get mold, it is pretty easy to spot. It will look "rotten." Last time I had mold, I pulled apart the bud and it looked just like an apple going bad from the core. Your picture is a little blurry, but it looks like good bud to me.

If you do have mold, cut it away from the good part of the bud and separate it.

It looks wet as hell.

Let it dry out on top of the refrigerator or another warm place. You wont likely get mold on a piece that small unless you keep it in a tight baggy.

Ohright i see man. Well i mean, maybe its just me being paranoid. Yeah, its a shame about the picture, really defeats the object of it eh :/. How long minimum would it take a bud that size to grow mould if it would? Thanks though.

A tight baggie you say? SHIT. Quite clearly where ive gone wrong then. I just kept it as i bought it and put it in my drawer, didn't think much of it tbh man. Fuck :/ Still think it'll be good though? Thanks.

If it would what?

Mold looks like white cotton candy or a white web inside the herb.

Mould. Its not mouldy though, so thanks for clearing that up. Any tips on where to store it? Because i must be doing something wrong. If within five days its lost a bit of character and tonnes of smell? :/

Well for first you had it for 5 days.
So it mayyyy be rotton.

If its a bit wet then dry & cure.

Other then that,
you should just smoke it and not worry.

Yeah, i should of just smoked this shit straight away. I left it in the baggie for those 5 days? il be smoking it at the weekend. Where shall i keep it till then man?

lmao WOW what does mold look like, lets see? hmm ok. Now why would something mold? hmm lets see? If your gunna worry about it. Dry the hell out of it and then you can bag it. With you not smoking ever your going to get baked either way it'd be hard for you to tell the difference. Don't keep something moist in a bag look at bread. And if you dont want dry it freeze it. You cant die from smoking mold. but in mass consumption it'll fuck ya up it takes time
