yeah CO2 is carbon dioxide. It is essential for the growth of all plants. Basically, humans breathe in oxygen (O2) and breathe out carbon dioxide (CO2). Plants are good because they absorb the carbon dioxide and emit oxygen (O2). The plants use carbon dioxide (CO2) along with sunlight and water to PHOTOSYNTHESIZE. This is how plants create energy so that they can grow So therefore, yes, your weed plants NEED a constant supply of (CO2) or else they won't grow. CO2 is found naturally in the atmosphere and is fine for outdoors but if your indoor growing a large number of plants u need to get good air flow or find a way to create more CO2 or else you plants will not be able to 'breathe' just like if there was no oxygen in the atmosphere for humans to breathe we would suffocate.
