for shits n giggles, what if dude was terminal or just in a real bad way,.....screw him? Taking care of those in need keeps mother Karma happy IMO. ......If I could write off the meds I've gifted......oy
KJ- One big piece of advice I give is to get your agreement IN WRITING, even if it's your best friend. As something to compare to, the current common compassionate plan between c/g and patient is 1 free ounce per harvest and $200 ea additional oz from same harvest. If it's abused, like resale for example, you're cut off immediately. Just some advice from someone who has seen waaaaaay too many of these relationships go haywire. A simple contract avoids a lot.

What does a standard contract with a caregiver around here look like? Like as a general framework.. I don't really know what to look for when I get my card and how the process usually works.

Hey finding a good caregiver isn't easy but if you need help in the right direction let me know. It's important that patients are being taken advantage of by a caregiver etc. And a good caregiver will have everything in writing and will help you (patient) find strains that help your ailments.

Thanks for the contract examples.. I didn't receive my card yet but I was just curious. Hopefully I get a letter or something soon telling me to come and get it though! It's been about 2 weeks since the DOH received my paperwork and money order.

Hey man yea it usually takes about month or so to get your paperwork with you mmp number on it and then you will to get your hard copy
Took about 3 weeks. Got the hard copy last Friday.

I received mine in 10 days after sending the paperwork. I just picked my card up today.

Lucky you man, My rooms take about 25-35 hours of effort a week.
One point,....when you send in your paperwork, watch your bank account,...you are "officially" legal the day they cash your check. You'll have to wait for the actual card if u want to use the center but get those beans planted if you're running an op for yourself.

Yea my card is dated on may 1st but I didn't receive the letter till the 6th so that's about a week of lost time I could have been getting a caregiver registered... Now I have to wait a week or so before my Slater application will go through and I can actually get meds! They took me on a kind of half tour of the place and I wasn't blown away by any of the buds.. The had a Deadhead OG strain that says the THC level is 23% but it didn't look or smell all that impressive to me.. I want to like the place and I hope the bud selection gets better soon.

It doesn't have to be personal. You can have five patients, and some of them may also have patients, and the rest can go to the compassion center. Either way it's a learning curve and will take effort when you start out. It may not be HARD work but it does require effort.
