K is potassium, or aka potash. Most nutrient brands should have a solid n-p-k in them. The two and three part nutrient lines have their n-p-k all in the different components. You should find an easy 1 part solution, such as botanicare's pro blend line. All you have is one nutrient mix for vegging and then another for flowering. On top of these macro nutrients, (the Phosphorus, potassium and nitgrogen) there are also micro nutrients and trace elements. Micro nutrients can be easily attained from an additional nutrient line. Should be blattantly labled as micro nutrients. Tracee elements (or nutrients whatever you want to call them) are a little harder to come by, some pro-mix's of soil try to add trace elements in to make life easier for the grower. Find a hydro store by you and start going through bottles of everything and try to really understand the contents of them. I would stear away from asking specific questions at a hydro store, but they should be able to give some advice on products they have available.
Just toss a little soil on that seedling. What is that soil anyways? Doesn't look that great.
1 month should be about 12 inches.
