Might be too much water/moisture? some of mine have yellow tips but I think it's from too much moisture and not enough dry days.130w CFL. They're outside now and not doing much lol They're not getting worse and they're not getting better I have no idea whats going on I might start a thread. Im gonna put them in full sunlight tomorrow and theyl be in their holes next monday Im hoping. On a better note I have a cotton candy inside to replace the 2nd LSD that didn't germinate and its looking really good so hopefully that wont screw up aswell, your CC's looking awesome mate happy your doing those aswell Wow 35lb that's insane! I really hope my plants pull through.
Yeah its been pretty decent down here to actually other then the past few days. The garden has really taken of especially the tomatoes which is a good sign. You might need to get your mum to grow you some killer weed by the sounds of it Throw one in with her tomatoes lol Nah but thats awesome man sounds like shes all go uo there.
On another bad note it looks like I wont be getting Christmas smoke... My plant is pushing out nanners lol Kinda pissed of but I guess that's what happens when your working against the season and stressing it out and messing with hermie genes. It was starting to look really really good to! Getting nicely formed and pumping out hairs and starting to get some resin going! Smells like straight carrots with a hint of weed smell lol The mother/father smelt like mango and carrots during flower so I guess it makes sense. Pretty low odder strain though. I could just leave it and get fem seeds but I cant be bothered dealing with it because the offspring will probably Hermie to so Ill most likely pull it in a week or so. Ill get some pics before I pull it and post them. I think Ive still got some of the original seeds ( Not last seasons hermie ones ) so my plan is to grow a male and female one day maybe next season and make seeds to get rid of the hermie genes and shit haha Long term plan is to breed this strain until I can properly grow it till the end and maybe cross it with something else one day because so far I haven't been able to grow it out, Im taking this strain hostage until I fix it lol
Shit sorry for the long ass reply man. Your plants look awesome, peace
Thats what I thought Id say it was to much watering or something. When I pulled them from the pots the roots were really nice and white though. You can defiantly tell the indica roots go more wide and the sativa roots go deeper Ill post some pics of the Taskeni and Panama roots lol Yeah the CC is looking goos shel be outside next week man she already has small resin glands all over the new growth I cant wait for this shit lol Already smells dank as fuck The Panama have such an odd smell kinda like smoke like if you were to smoke something in a wood smoker. Hopefully my outdoor baby's are alright its been fair weather down here but really windy and as you said defiantly still spring weather so hopefully itl pick up soon.Might be too much water/moisture? some of mine have yellow tips but I think it's from too much moisture and not enough dry days.
The cotton candy will get massive and produce a lot outside I reckon, my CC mother inside is really good - more frosty and sweeter than the last pheno. Your plants will be fine once they're in the ground and grow up more, I'd only be worried if it were on new growth.
It's been pretty average up here at the moment, real spring weather still. But today is good! meant to get to 22 and is fine. Ha yeah might slightly be noticeable with a 12ft marijuana tree in her garden .
Your plant will probably be alright as long as it's not producing balls/pods and only bananas, my indoor plants get a few here and there from time to time. Looks good with the purpling and looks similar to the mother/father, looks like another 3-4 weeks I think.
Ha yeah the thing with making more seeds without introducing more lines into the breeding is losing vigour and more variation with f2's, could keep an original mother and cross the stabilised progeny back onto it later down the track but that's a lot of bloody work lol.
Your plants look awesome bro, can't wait to see them grow
Yeah ill only have them on 24/0 for the first 10-14 days, once I re-pot them into soil ill veg them at 18/6 until I put them out.Sweet looking good mattskibop, probably better to have the light hours inside closer to outside light hours - 24/0 to say 14-15 will end up flowering most likely.
Those buds look good for a winter grow.
Put 6 out last night just before the rain which is good.
Putting 2 bd13's and cotton candy out tonight
I reckon it sounds like you and your missus are the sort of people who should get in contact with GreenCross - http://greencross.org.nz/if your up for charity im keen, wife has a failed back surgery, or FBSS, basically they left it too long before doing surgery and her nerves are fried.....
Equinox this year was Sept 23, solstice is Dec 21. At Auckland's latitude there is 13 hours of daylight from mid October, and it's up to 14 hours already. http://www.rasnz.org.nz/SRSStimes.shtmlAfter doing some research it sounds like December 1st (June 1st in the northern hemisphere) is the golden date by which most growers claim that you are pretty safe from early flowering with clones.
Too much water is no good in spring like I've learnt in the past lol. yeah that's pretty much it bro, sativas are real good for dry seasons cause the roots are so deep that it survives better than indicas - I wont use rain crystals on landrace sativas again because I didn't realise how drought resistant they were till I grew out those Malawi this year. Not surprised that the CC's already have resin pumping out , dank ass strain man!.Thats what I thought Id say it was to much watering or something. Thanks yea shes looking good and the guano tea is doing a primo job im upping the mix according to the schedule now. I wont be surprised if the whole plant is purple by harvest, its more of a dark purple this time because ive kept the nitrogen up as apposed to last time were it lacked nitrogen from day one of flowering which made a lighter redy purple at the end and im loving the smell i cant really describe it. Weird terpene profile. If you add another line or strain does that make it an f1 or f2 again? Im thinking about crossing a male and a female of the original seeds and breeding out the hermie genes. Or crossing something onto it deepening on what it lacks. Maybe an Afghani or something one day but thats more long term lol well see.
Taskenti root system - Wide fat pure indica roots
Panama root system - Deep, thin, pure sativa not many roots.
Yea makes sense lol Lots of spring water down here still. I actually forgot to mix the water crystals into my soil before I planted. Reckon itl be algood to still mix them in and around the plant? Could wait till things warm up a little more and theirs less water around but by the ill be disturbing the root system. Im surprised man I wanna know what CC pheno ive got but I cant get over the weird smell its out of it hahah I guess once the Panama get bigger the terpene profile will show more.Too much water is no good in spring like I've learnt in the past lol. yeah that's pretty much it bro, sativas are real good for dry seasons cause the roots are so deep that it survives better than indicas - I wont use rain crystals on landrace sativas again because I didn't realise how drought resistant they were till I grew out those Malawi this year. The Panama bud has an almost dishwashing liquid smell to them, the red phenos need a good 3-6 month cure to come into their own - the green pheno is amazing straight after harvest.
Still spring weather alright!, your plants will be algood once the weather clears up. mine didn't look to flash either before going out.
Planted mine on sunday night and pissed down the next day, this week has been perfect for planting - lots of rain and sun to condition them for the hot days ahead. Hopefully the rain crystals are gelled up through the soil. looks like it's getting hot from tomorrow onwards, couldn't of asked for a better start to the season.
good to hear the Guano is working well, obviously getting the best out of the terpenes/THC profile by the sounds of it. pretty keen to start introducing bat guano to my indoor grows soon. Not too sure about f1/f2 introduction with unknown lines like your strain - I suppose if you inbred it to f5 then introduce a landrace/another inbred it would be an f1 for sure. I still have a lot to learn with breeding lol.
Here's some Black domina g13 and CC indoor pics. BD g13: finishing up at 8-9 weeks

Current Cotton Candy pheno: real nice dense solid frosty buds - probably 5 or 6 weeks. Sweet musky/dank smell. Loving this pheno!

Previous Cotton Candy pheno - not as solid buds and not as frosty with a more danker intense lemon smell. Wider leaves too.
