Wasn't Obama's announced myRA the first step to confiscation? Instead of 401K's, a government run, and sponsored investment vehicle that invests in the governments own bonds, what could possibly go wrong?
I know you're just fucking with the guy, but here's a post from an Oregon guy rating a place called Main Street Marijuana in Vancouver Washington.
The data didn't post, but these prices were hit about two or three weeks ago. Don't know what they are today.
I thought his post was pretty funny ---

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW: AN OUNCE WOULD COST A PERSON APPROXIMATELY $850. Read that again. $850. I seriously could not stop whispering "Are you kidding me?" to myself for about 3 hours after I went in, turned around, and left. $850. $850. Terrible selection at exactly 3 strains. $850. Sticking with the other multiple, and better, strains I already have in my possession. $850. If you're out of touch, you might be out of luck and have to pay these prices for okay product. $850. Not me, brother. $850. Imagine paying $45 for a single fast-food taco and you can sort of understand how incredibly whacked out these prices are. $850. Apparently their prices are going to drop, but they'd have to come in at about $8/gram tops for award winning, mind-blowing stuff to get me to come back. $850

Prices spike and why this should be legal is beyond me. I wish alcohol was not legal.
I go see a Doctor once a year and go to my clinic anytime I want and pay $280 - $400. But, you say, that's not Progressive. The poor get no break. True but the City gets 10% extra tax after the State Sales Tax.
Sure, but $900 an oz for "recreation" is just the dark side of self rule. Nothing Progressive or supportive about it. Nothing new about marginalizing and then cynically gouging the most needy of the public, however.

which is exactly why they're doing crazy things to try to "secure america's future."
If they were to rely on "enough people paying into the system," they would be at the mercy of those people's willingness and ability to do so. So they're trying to set it up so that they don't have to care whether we support the system or not; their system will continue as long as they support their system, by configuring it toward their own benefit at any cost (to anyone but themselves).
