Obamacare, Climate Change Hoax, Cap and Trade - ALL DEAD!

Looks like a big fat FAIL across the board for Obama. Gosh, whoever would have predicted that? Last week there was only a six point difference between those who would rather have Obama in office and those who would rather have Bush back. By summer a majority of America will be admitting they would rather have Bush.

That will be the final, humiliating FAIL!

Flash, new poll just out shows Obama at 44. Conventional wisdom is that below 40 and it is a rapid spiral down. Hope and Change = Hoax and Chains.

I hope that you are correct!

It is now crunch time on Health care.
Obama is applying pressure to the wayward dems...he has requested a meeting tomorrow at the WH.
This is going to be really fascinating to see if he can pull this off.
I sense that the future of his Presidency swings in the balance. Obama's frustration is escalating, remember he has to have a done deal by XMAS...

Full speed ahead and let the taxpayers be damned.

Three dems (or ind) are balking each for different reasons. They need all 3 of them. To get each they will have to throw a major provision overboard. The hard left would scream at that and even though team Obama would try to spin it as a victory, everyone would realize what a defeat it was.

Just on the news..... public option....DEAD.... early buy in to medicare..... DEAD..... Neadamyer....DEAD..

err sorry bout the last one got carried away.

Good to hear though. Now if we can just make them scrap it all and reform what needs to be reformed.

Health insurance.

Obama's misguided mish-mash of so called Health reform is late in the 4th quarter and the clock is ticking....bombs away...His sheer level of desperation is unbecoming to the office he holds.

Deliberation seems woefully absent from this entire process...the POTUS wishes to "win" at any cost.
Puerile.

They have now caved on public option and medicare buy-in to get Lieberman. Now they have to cave on abortion to get Nelson. If no hard lefters bolt they can now pass something that has healthcare in the title, costs a lot and does nothing. This is just what I predicted six months ago. Bad for sure, but a political defeat for Obama.

Not that I want more taxes...but instead of spending a trillion dollars that will result in a huge tax increase later, couldn't we just be taxed a little more to buy these uninsured folks health care? Once they have insurance everyone can calm down and focus on the problems with health care rationally.

This makes way too much sense though.

Obama is almost a lame duck 12mo into his first term. The net loss of seats in 2010 will have him quacking all the way back to Chicago.

Looks to me like they are just ignoring the whole thing and continuing with the Global Taxation Agenda.

Major media is reporting it with a lot of quotes . . . . kinda like me putting one of these  after each opposition view point.

I think the breaking point will come soon though, now there are over 30,000 scientists speaking out against man-made global warming theory.

I used to believe this stuff myself :wall: I Just hope the hoax is not being exposed to late . . .

What you say is true but this isn't really about the people who have no insurance. Just like the disgraced climate change effort wasn't really about protecting the environment. Both have always been about an attack on capitalism by a marxist hard left cabal that learned they could hijack liberal movements and trick people by appealing to "the poor sick people" and the poor polar bears." The people who really care about the poor and the environment are being used.

Right....and people like yourself who brainlessly criticize everything obama does because they live in rush limbaugh's alternate universe and have been conditioned like a pack of pavlovian dogs are not being used at all. They're just super free-thinking. :wall:

What you said makes you look worse. Name calling and put downs are the sign of desperation. Can you give him an argument why he is wrong? Or are you just a kool aid drinking lib?

I'm a Republican and I don't listen to Glenn Beck, Hannity or Limbaugh.

You gotta admit though dude. The Obama agenda is going nowhere. This while having both houses.

Two constants in Washington are the Clinton's and the Bush's. I know if I were a Dem and in Obama's cabinet my long term security is with the Clintons. They will be around for the next 30 years. There is no family or Washington legacy with Obama. I truly feel that Pelosi, Reed and all of Obama's cabinet are aware of this. They are using Obama to pass legistlation that they've wanted for years but no one in their right mind would try it because they want to be set up for long term success.

In walks Obama. The perfect goat.

You get someone green around the ears and make them eat. Obama is eating it really hard right now.

There is a reason too why Senators never do well in presidential elections. Well, here we see why. Many feel they have no experience running governments. Governors routinely win the White House.

B+

I was really talking about the OP who doesn't appear to be able to articulate any thoughts of his own and is constantly spewing retarded AM radio talking points on these board. The point of this whole post is "har, har, obama sucks because he's not able to pass his agenda quickly enough" and frankly that's just dumb.

I know that many old-school republicans (including bush sr.) are appalled at what their party has become and I can understand that. Instead of discussing differences on policy, it's all become about questioning people's motives and implying that they are unpatriotic or communist muslims or whatever. I honestly think that his will hurt their chances of regaining congress or the whitehouse because most americans aren't as interested in partisan culture wars as they are in bread and butter issues. And if the housing market, jobs and financial markets recover as it seems they are, then teh goose is pretty much cooked for hard-right ideologues.

Also, I don't agree with your analysis about the dems in congress at all, though. The obama train severely outmaneuvered the clintons during the primaries and most of them understand that the wind has shifted. A lot might happen in the next couple of years, but I definitely think the trend isn't favoring the clintons.

As for resin225: here is where he is wrong. Not being able to pass some of the big items during the first year of a 4-year term is hardly a failure, especially when you spent most of it cleaning up the last guys mess. Let's have this discussion again two years from now. In the meantime, how about we all have a nice glass of ice cold cool aid. Oh yeah!!!

Let's just take this one comment as symptomatic of the whole post. Making statements like this doesn't advance any point you might have. It is said that profanity is the effort of a feeble mind trying to express itself forcefully. Likewise, the "retarded gambit" just makes it seem as if you are really pissed but can't think of anything substantive to say so it's like "I'll show them.... I-I'll call them retarded! HA fuckin-A I'll call 'em retarded. That'll show 'em who's who around here!"

Indeed it does.
