hey guys and gals of the forum, question here
iv got a pile of compost that has been sitting outside for a few years. (i dont think longer than 5) my stepdad is a trucker/farmer and got a truck load from some custom maker in new mexico, and hasnt known what to do with it.
im curious if its still good? it hasn't been covered but is actually bug and weed free (good or bad?) iv got a batch of tea brewing from it, and it smells earthy, and is foaming..... im mostly just curious if microbe content can either survive that long even in a dormant state, or be revived rather easily..... iv been debating giving the pile a nice soaking with some ntfg Aphrodites extraction liquid carbon. but id like to get some general opinions before i spend the 30$
am i just soaking dead dry dirt or is it revive able ? it would be kind of a shame to loose such a pile. but things happen..... i understand its probably not the best but there is A LOT
