Without knowing for sure, but assuming the male plant I used was a Fireskunk that I pollinated #4 with, I think there's a very good chance that it will throw phenos there are imposter cut phenos that will make combinations that resemble pure skunk. And some with some funk. If I could get the Afghan terps of the Baba with the earthy hashy musky gassy Fireskunk Ghani terps...that could make some skunky skunks in the spread.

Thirty or more overnight in VA. I started in Oregon in 1998. Breeding or rather making crosses indoors that is...no real breeding.

So probably about 3 breeders if you lucky the rest targeted pollen chuckers at best hopefully I'm wrong but you know

I think there's more than three. I'm not trying to breed anything. I feel lucky...having only 6 or 12 seeds of this and that old stuff makes it easy to preserve. I didn't mean I've been a breeder since 1998. That's just when I started crossing genetics and studying the effects. I can't work outdoors now with no where to go, so no breeding really.

Conor was right in saying I should hold off on any conclusions about things until further study.
No matter what number four is, I like the plant and definitely see something special there.
Playing devil's advocate, I said well what if this is Willie D f2 x Kabul Baba? If it is I like it.
So let's look at the things it possibly could be:
1) It could be Willy D f2 x Kabul Baba
2) It could be Skunk#1 x Kabul Baba
3) It could be Skunk #1 x Skunk #1
4) It could be Kabul Baba x Kabul Baba
5) It could be Willy D f2 Firecracker x Willy D f2 Firecracker
Having grown all the parents which were different than one another it then becomes a task to pick out the traits and terps of the parents and progeny to determine what is what.
Starting here, #4 has a dark green color. Only Kabul Baba has that dark green color straight from it's real Afghan father. The leaves are identical to Baba. The phylotaxy matches 100%.
And so far the terps do as well for what the cross is supposed to be ,being sweeter a little bit more like the skunk.
Fat trichomes heads, sticky, and with distinctive terpenes.
In the plants that are Willie D crosses, there are Mexican sativa imposter skunks that also are very influenced by the Afghani in them. There are there are also plants that are like big Afghan Skunks. More leafy and big boned than the skunk phylotaxy plants. I have three imposter skunks set aside to pheno hunt for quality and to see how they compare to the first imposter cut. They are very nice. So my question to myself tonight was well what if the female is not skunk and is the Willie D? And the sativa Mexican in the Willie D is looking just like some skunk number one?
It's an interesting task to unravel the mystery. The buds are so full of seeds that it will be kind of hard from this run to tell a lot of things. The question is what if the Fireskunk is really Willy D f3 imposter skunk? That would totally change the equation.
Regardless whatever number four is I really dig it already just looking at it, smelling it, I can see that it's the kind of plant that I like for structure and leaf to bract ratio.

I doubt it hardly no one runs the numbers due to legal restrictions and that's what it takes in reality otherwise your losing stuff along the way this is why I say targeted pollen chuckers cos that's what we are no offence intended I know folks are doing what they can but how many are growing out hundreds of thousands of plants and selecting from them it will be a short list unfortunately but times change hopefully this does too and what your doing id say is more preservation than breeding bud tis a good thing we need more of the old stuff for sure it's sad when you see stuff disappearing we already lost enough

Yeah it's preservation work. I'm happy with that too since I can't work with real numbers. But at least I have the seed to work with real numbers now. The firecracker was always my number three. Unfortunately my best two strains were got by the sadists who destroyed the medicine that can save the world.
