Damn those look good. I haven't had lentils in a while though I love them. They've always been tough for me to cook- I either over or under cook em
1kg of them and a few vegetables feed me for a week, the trick is having a pressure cooker, usually 10 min after pressure rises does the trick for most lentils.

Well after going through this thread, I'm fairly certain I don't have a clue what a real taco is.
And why is it called a California burrito?

A real taco is just Mexican street food. Usually on a soft corn tortilla but you can do either flour or corn most of the time. They usually do shredded beef (barbacoa) ground beef (picadillo), pork (carnitas, al pastor, green chili pork), fajita beef or chicken, fried whitefish (fish tacos from places like San Diego) and then top them with cilantro and chopped onion. They make a bunch of different salsas, either tomato or avocado or tomatillo based. There's a million variations of these with all kinds of crazy shit. Fish tacos usually have shredded cabbage and pickled onions and stuff like that.
