*** Online Growing School 101 ***

This week!!!----I have some plants in veg that need to be cloned and sexed-----Godzilla----OrangeKrush---LemonKrush----and a few strains from other breeders and friends:mrgreen: . I will start the post tonight... hope you like it!!!

I just filled a 5 gallon bucket with 2 Gallons of RO water(you can use tap if its below 150ppm's---just fill and let chlorine evap over 24 hours or add 6.4ml/gal of 35% H2o2 and wait 20 mins to use.) I then add 1ml/gal superthrive and 10ml/gal of green power-thrive with B-1. I then check PH and raise or lower to 5.0. I then add #45--1.5"x1.5" rock-wool cubes and stir. Now I will wait 24 hours for the rock-wool to condition and post a couple pics...

Hey Doc I got a problem. I chopped one of the girls but can't bring myself to chop the other two. lol the buds keep growing. I'm going to chop this one tonight thought I would get a pic before I pull out the chian saw.

After being less then happy with the two auto's. Wet yeild 80g. The other has come out much beter at 168g wet. Avg.yeild on the last grow, same stuff was 80g per plant. So Doc. I just want to say thanks. Your 101 class has dbl. my yeild.

I am starting a online growing class 101 on Jan 3rd 5pm(pacific standard time)---everyone is welcome. I will be posting and answering all questions from 5 to 6pm Mon thru Fri. If you plan on following along with your own grow please have your materials ready--It doesn't matter if you have bag-seed or high dollar strains. Those that join before the start date will be graded and judged by the forum members via---"grower polls" and at the end of 18 weeks one grower will be named--"NEW GROWER OF THE YEAR 2009". This should be a fun and informational class with lots of feedback. All I ask in return is that if you want to join the class, please make the commitment and try to make yourself the time to get the most out of it...Looking forward the the first class-----see you in JAN.
how can I join your class? I am on my 1st grow right now. 5 plants (mixed kushes i started from seed in the Aerogarden) in a Bubbleponics system, 1 600W MH in a digital conversion ballast (will switch from MH to HPS 600W for flowering). As i write this it is now Day 32. I am trying to figure out how to best prune and thin my plants to increase the light at the bottom, but I am not sure if I should even thin yet, and I am not sure what leaves to cut. 2 are 10", 1 9", and 2 6". I was planning on letting them remain in veg. state for at least the rest of the month of June (21 more days) or until between 16" - 24". This will be a total of 53 days veg. and I will probably let them go to 60 days regardless of size before I switch them over to flowering. Is there anything you can suggest to make this a really good grow with lots of flowers? Should I bother to top off the plants since I can let them go all the way to 4"? Should I thin or prune at all yet? I know pruning increases node sites and branch growth but is it really necessary with what I have? Take a look at all my pics please. I await your reply and any help from others as well.

ph 6.6 bottled water
ph 6.5 run off (F.F.Ocean Forest/perlite mix)
ph 6.3 run off (F.F.Ocean Forest/perlite/Miracle Gro sphagnum peat moss)

can you help me choose the best mix for my 2 week old seedlings.

note; the MG peat moss says "enriched with MG plant food..and it says 0.05% total nitrogen in back.

And my next victims.the battle of the bitches
white widow pitted against me chemo cindy.
So far the cindy kicks the snot out of the widow. Very sticky nasty girl she is.

Anyways sorry all for the quick hyjack. Doc helped me on my first medical grow and as ya can see it worked. Thanks again doc.:peace::peace:

Yeah they be a stinkin. The chemos are pulling close to 4 zips per plant so far at about 3ft tall. Been doing lst'ing to increase production.Got me close to 2 zips more per plant without any popcorn buds.I'm now running a 1000 hps in bloom and moved the 600 to veg.Just now getting the run at every 2 weeks which keeps be a busy boy.
Doc I've a issue with my white widows showing purple leafs late in flower.I'm still all foxfarm nutes with all there goodies and have increased my feeding of tiger bloom to 1 tlb per gal instead of 2 tps. I was thinking they're lacking "p" so bumped that up a tad.

This last shot is on the same plant of course but think this is just late flowering stage die off.

It hasn't seemed to have slowed them down any and the last set was pulled at 55 days and went 3.32 zips dry.Dam thing never got over 2 ft tall, lol. This next set is showing the same signs at about the same time(48 days in bloom) but this set I fed more right out of the gate.
ph 6.8
temp lights on 76
lights off
68
r/h 43%.

Any clue??
The chemos dont show this at all and have never mared a leaf at the foxfarm feeding chart.

I had to pull the last set due to a few bananas that poped out. I had a light leak at my intake vent from the veg room. Yeah new light and never checked. Well that 600 puts out a hell of alot more light than those cfls and yep, glowing right thru the grey tape. They both where all cloudy with a few ambers about but a little early. Anyways, been waiting to ask ya about these widows. They are a bitch to grow and take a lot of trimmin and from what I'm see'in and taste'in dont compare to the cindy's.

Anyways welcome back,,, welcome back bongsmiliebongsmilie

Doc, I just wanna thank you and EVERYONE else in this thread. Since this class started I have learned so much and when I got my seeds in from my dad all of them were CRUSHED but 8 3 of which had a small crack in them so I decided I would do an emergency germ on them and put them in a cup of water, 24hours later I planted them and they went under my CFL. found out 2 days later my temp was 76f so I had to add another bulb (I read that 85-95 is ideal?) since my add of the bulb 36 hours ago my temp has idled around 88-90 and I can see a little sproutling just under the soil creaping her way to the top. I will start a thread of my own with pictures of my homemade crafty (suzy hommaker box) **think you guys would be pretty proud** THANKS AGAIN

those temps are pretty high. I never run the room over 80.My light on temp is 76 and light off temps are 68. Ya may want to add a fan or vent them more to get those temps back down. Well, unless yer run'in co2 then that 90 might be fine. But without the 02 your a tad to warm.
