This is blackstrap molasses.

And this is sorghum molasses.I use sorghum, because it has about double the nutrients as my same bottle of black strap molasses.

I don't know, you'll have to read the label.Might have something to do with flavor, not nutritional content.

I wish somebody could find out the pros & cons between the sulfer & unsulfered. Sulfer sounds bad, but I heard that it's good, also. I'll find out. In the meantime, spent an hour looking for the "Worm Casting Tea" question. Finally fouund it. Before I forget, the main purpose for making a good tea is to multiply the microbial life in the soil, which will make all the avaliable Nutes easy to absorb, unlike a fish lying in the soil. The Coco matter mentioned is anti-microbial.... it hams the soil, & will kill dogs if they chew on the shit. Peat itself is also anti-microbial. With a good living, healty soil, no water retention material is needed.
See Bruce Deuley's web site. There is 1,000's of dollars tea makers. Bruce spent $30. and took them to the cleaners. Also check out captaincompostalabama. web site. Good Luck.

For water retention. A good compost will be cool. Just keep the Coco away from dogs, they will chew on it & kill them.

Here is all I know. Peat, no good, but is fine if you are not growing a "LIving" soil. (Your plants is the only victim when using peat.) Hey Charles, there is no problems, only solutions. No Option is not an option. For now, OK., but make out Plan B. for the Future. A Worm farm will solve the problem.
Coco Coir, all I know is that it will kill dogs if they chew on it. I do not know if it's anti-microbial or not. If you find out more info, let us know.
Charles, compost tea makers can be cheap & VERY good, & very high dollar & good. Test was done..... A Dude named Malcohm (SP?) Beck made one called "Texas Best Littlest Tea Composters.." He has a site, & He sells them, but also shows how to make them. His homemade tea makers blew the high dollar tea makers out of the water. I guess I need to see if I can find it & post it.
