Wow, she's a beast all right.

One of the Northern Lights showed its balls the other day, will try and harvest some pollen off it later this season and see if I can get some Northern Lights seeds (will toss some your way @thumper60 if successful).

Been cold here lately--42 degrees last two mornings. I've got the wood stove going this morning as the house is downright chilly. I'm sure that's slowing down the growth a bit but it'll warm back up soon.

Here's the whole gang:

Howdy all. I live on Long Island, NY.

This year I'm going to flower my July '22 GSC clones that were overwintered. The plants are 10 months old and will be 15 at harvest. I overwintered them (and 3 others that I scrapped in March) under a single 4' 75w LED. I kept the temp around 60 degrees and the plants grew at a slow, consistent pace. I put them into a tent with higher temps and more lighting for a couple weeks before taking clones in March.

I'm curious to see how this goes. I will SCROG them with the goal of keeping the final plant to about 6'. They were topped several times over the winter so if I top 3X between now and flower I could have an amazing number of tops. Time will tell.

They going in the ground? By the looks those will get huge if given the root space.

We been in the 30s the last 5 morning but pushing 70 by afternoon.

Yes, they're going into the ground. I'll use 3 layers of 3" netting for my SCROG and each plant should fill up a 5' x 5' area. My hope is to have >100 tops on at least one of the plants.

This is a photo from last Sept of a plant that harvested 60 tops. I used 2 layers of netting and one was 5". The plant went more vertical than what I wanted. I think I can do an additional topping if I use 3 layers of the 3".

Link to what I used is below (I see now it's 3.5" rather than 3"). I set up my SCROG by putting in 7' t-posts and then threading clothesline through the outer edge of the trellis netting rather than looping the netting over the t-posts. The clothesline attached to the t-posts. This made for a much cleaner net (no drooping) and I could raise/lower the netting while training the plant.

Today i cut a super lemon haze and its short and indica looking ffs!! Anyone had that pheno? How it smokes? Oozing with lemoney scent

All the girls are doing well, really starting to fill out in their big pots.
One of the 2xOG Sours is starting to look like it might be a male. I'm going to let it go bit longer to be sure. It looked to be pulling more of the Sour pheno(smell,color) so really don't want to chop it. If anything I'll try to get some pollen from it if it is a male.
The Cherry Cheetah has huge fan leaves already. Not sure if that's a trait from it's cheetah piss or lemon cherry gelato genetics but it looks cool.

Those fires over your way? Ton of cool rain here the last week more to come at least the night temps are up.

I didn’t because my backyard soil is more clay than anything. As much as I would love to grow some trees, I‘ll train them to bush out. I try to keep the height usually to 6’ and under, because my backyard fence can only cover so much from the townhouses that face my backyard. Although they’ve been fine for the 4 years I’ve been growing outside so far.
