Well intentioned, I admit that, and I sympathize ... but the methodology is hideous and convoluted, and bloated. It simply never works. Good attempts of the heart, but the cost is too high and results never what they were designed to be.

Specific enough or do you want projected costs and results for any number of social programs? All well intentioned, all disasters, which affect real people.

You know CJ, around here we have a large immigrant population and many despite coming here with nothing become very successful in a short period of time. I wondered why this is so and finally figured out, it is their family.

See, the immigrants come from countries with no Government social net. So, they rely on each other for support. And what this produces is quite amazing. This produces large, close families that depend on each other in ways most Americans have forgotten. Often they live two or three immediate families under one roof. Parents invest in their children and count on them for support in their later years. In this system, parents can not afford to fail their children. And the large, tight nit families bring intangibles in which Americans sadly no longer find value.

Anyone who wants a lesson on how to start with nothing and become successful should look at the accomplishments of our immigrants for the secret. They pool their resources, start business' at which they all work. They all chip in and live on close to nothing putting all their money into a business hoping it becomes successful before handing it down to their children. Now that system works.

Liberals are just basically gullible, for a variety of reasons, but the result is the same. They are easily fooled, and easily misled, and manipulated.

In the end, most liberals don't understand human nature. they constantly fall for paper success when in the real world, once applied, it fails miserably. No one would care if it didn't have tremendous costs built into these grand gestures.

Using the Govt. as the vehicle of change is guaranteeing failure as an outcome before you even get started. It is their lack of faith in their common citizen and neighbor which makes them think that strangers in Washington have the answers ... they don't.

But they will manipulate you if you let them.
