93 degrees here today- earlier I did a little pruning on the Black Cherry Soda to sort of open up the interior, and also fastened some bamboo crosspieces to help support the lower branches. No bug probs (yet), and most of the time I go out to look there's at least a couple of ladybugs prowling around which is good. I've also been running my bug-zapper at night and now there's a pile of dead moths under it which has prompted a bunch of spider-web building.
Took a couple of pics today, L-R are Chernobyl, Black Cherry Soda, and Heavy-Duty Fruity.

The Black Cherry Soda and Chernobyl both came from Amazon Organics

They had the best-looking clones of over a dozen dispensaries I checked out

Cheers back at you my friend

I got mine from hawk Marsden outta oregon city. He carries all the Tga genetic strains. Google "hawk Marsden" and check out his you tube page to see his current stocks. He's out in the bum fucks of oregon city and he charges an arm and a leg but He's got a great variety and some monsters too. Here's a nug shot of oregon diesel flowering in late July lol7549.jpeg

Well...a couple days ago I suspected that my outdoor plants were starting their stretch...

Today it is obvious...especially The Black...the stretch is progressing! Curious as to when the first flower pistils will show!!

Cheers

Only my second go round so I can't really spot the difference between stretch and normal growth. I know they'll move up and out more rapidly, that's about it. I didn't notice any pistols until around the 10th of august last year and I'm running one of the same strains. Nothing yet as of last night. I expected them to get much taller than what they are now. My two biggest are about 5 feet tall. They should get much taller in my opinion. But then again I topped them like crazy, they're just big round bushes. My obama isn't even waist high yet. Took a few pics last night at sundown right after giving them the last dose of veg nutes.

BD....looks.I see some stretch there...the spacing of the nodes in your tops start to spread...literally strrtch....
They two biggest have had a good amount of distance between from the get go. The Banner has many inches between from bottom to top. Just figured that's because they're mainly sativa. Long and lanky. I guess we'll see in the coming week. I just want them to fill out the 7+ foot height of the trellis.

I've been so busy I haven't really been paying very close attention to my grow. They are huge, a couple are over 7' tall and they seem to still be stretching. They are near my 6' fence, I may have to try some late season topping... I'm not sure how they'll react to that, I'd be cutting into some thick woody stems at this point. I kind of dropped the ball on this grow, let them get out of control, like I said, been real busy.

So far I have two girls definitely showing (both Amnesia Hashplant) and one boy was cut down maybe a week ago, meaning the other two of that strain are probably girls (Cheri's Gift, a CBD plant). The others are still unknown. In the last two seasons they've shown sex the first week in August, the fact that a few have already is looking good for these Oregon Green Seed strains in terms of being early finishers. Not quite as fast to flower as some of the Getaway Mountain strains (from what I've read), but better than what I've worked with in the past.

Those are beautiful man...It's a shame we have to be concerned with staying below a 6' fence. Stupid oregon rule made by those that know nothing about growing cannabis. I did my first scrog style grow this year and still can't keep em below the fence. I am fortunate that I have really cool neighbors. My GM strains are all slowing on the stretch and just starting to build flowers.20170723_110505(1).jpg 20170728_070811.jpg

Thanks, and your are looking beautiful too. I've probably mentioned, my neighbors include the Police station down the street... it just takes one LE who hates that its legal to ruin my day. The first year I grew I wanted to see how big I could get them, but the subsequent years my plans included strategies for keeping them smaller. Both years I've tried to keep them small I've failed! LOL, the girls just wanna grow, it's hard to hold them back. I'll have to try harder next year. Either I won't put them out until mid-June, or I might just do a field of autos, that'll keep 'em small.

I totally know what you mean. I purposely started my seeds a month later this year, and it shows. The GH is gonna be more manageable for sure. This years raised bed plants are looking to be a couple feet shorter than last. I'm certain if I hadn't topped and trained the R2 Poison to grow like it has, It would be an easy 12'+.
Really digging Getaways strains. Oh yeah...the Autos have been fun to grow as well.
Here's a pic of a Quarter Pounder Auto I've got in a 7 gal...should be done in about a month.20170728_071209.jpg 20170728_071242.jpg

I look forward to hearing the end of season results with Getaway's strains. My vague notion is that next year will be a couple of his planted late, and the rest autos. I'd like to keep it simple. No scrogs, no cover, nothing fancy, just put them in the ground and let them take their natural shape -- in smaller form.

Next week is looking crazy hot... I hope they're wrong about this. There are many places where temps like that are normal, but that seems a bit hot for this part of the state. Those would be the highest temps I've experienced in decades (and definitely the hottest since moving to Oregon in '04).

You guys are both looking good. I started really late this year to keep size down. It worked a little too well in some cases. But then the sun didn't really shine here in June, so some have been flowering a couple of three weeks already. Very few of the later ones are taller than waist high. That is not all bad. I've had helo's over my grow, and I'm not in a legal state. {thus the new name and noob status}
