Thank you. I love the PNW. Nowhere else could I live this kind of life. Truly like kings of men.Looking great Amshif - all the way around!!
Got this thing in the mail today. I waited 3 weeks because the eBay seller was on vacation. Cost me $60 shipped. It was used but sold as working. I was so excited to blast the fucking greenhouse and what do you know it doesn't work. Never fogged, the fan is broken and after 30 seconds on it got melting plastic hot and now my entire house smells like burnt circuit boards. It'll take me 2 weeks to get my money back from PayPal and to buy a new one will cost me $97. Looks like I'm finding new plans for my day off.View attachment 3731107
Nice man, they look healthy. I fell in love with the Oregon diesel I had last year. It was like blueberry muffins and done 2 weeks before anything else. When you say down the road, I'm judging by your handle that you mean down the 5 to Corvallis? It appears you've got them in holes as opposed to pots. What kind of soil are they in and what if anything are you feeding them? Also I started a thread in the outdoor section about getting an Oregon BBQ this fall. Stop by and chime in if you'd be interested. Might be a good spot for some Oregon heads to get to know some of the other locals. Feel free to keep throwing pics up here man. I love an open thread. Thanks for stopping by. As always, stay safe and happy farming.Yep, looking good am shif! I stumbled across your thread about a week ago and appreciate all the detail. Since I'm just down the road from you thought I'd share my rec grow. Big one is a sugar black rose clone, smaller is oregon diesel clone. My first time growing outdoors, wish I would have realized how big they get. Both have been topped, sbr several times. Both supercropped although the od doesn't like it that much. Sbr just now showing pistils, od has been for awhile, which maybe explains the smaller size. Both out in mid may. Need to tie down the sbr this weekend, just about 5 ft tall!
I've got a small cage and then a big 24" diameter one on some of them, I did 1 with 6 ft bamboo poles and 4 total will be trellised. I'm thinking I will need more support and will be tying a lot of branches up but depending on how big your cages are you might be ok mine are smaller because I was planning on another one but never got around to it. I used to do gorilla outdoor grows as a kid and I'd feel really lucky if I took 1/3 of my plants to harvest. I've been in the NE from 2010-2015 and did only indoor. This will be my first bigger outdoor grow, well it's big to me. I've heard you're rolling the dice in this part of the state. I know PM is really bad on grapes this year and our wet falls cause a whole bunch of problems for people. I am growing for another patient this year as well as myself so I decided that it was worth the investment to put a greenhouse on these. Some of the best bud I've ever smoked came from outdoor grows near the Washington border on the coast. I just wanted to set myself up for successYeah, both are in a raised bed, fighting for space with the tomato plants...soil is bag soil, Bumper Crop, plus our composted garden from last year. Amended with a bunch of bone meal before planting, have been adding blood meal every other week for veg. Just started adding a tomato bloom fertilizer, will switch to something a bit higher in P once the flowering starts. Tried to wrap the plants with a 3 foot welded wire fence today, several busted branches but not too bad. Do you think they'll need more support? And, is it essential to cover in the fall for rain?
And yep, chillin in corvallis, great little town! Thanks for letting me crash your thread a bit don't think I'll create my own but I'll post a few pics here and there. Happy farming.
Wow, those donkey kong look awesome. Did you too at all? They are Oregon Green seed company right? I love the death star cut and I've never smoked orgnkids banana but my friend ran his old school blackberry kush a while back. Super awesome. I remember seeing pics of his back in the day it blew my mind. This is why I think an Oregon post harvest get together would be a lot of fun. I started a thread somewhere I should probably check on. Lol. My parents have a nice property right outside of Salem that could very easily host a lot of RIU members.Yeah, I'm a little concerned on my lack of support too, specially w/ Ms. Donkey Kong. She is going, going up! I'm sure I'll be jigging with bamboo, once she starts packing. Easily a foot over head.View attachment 3736069
Back in the day, there was some good weed coming out of the coast range. I imagine that is still true today.
Right on bro, thanks for stopping by. I've got the deer eating my vegetable garden in the front years but I found some spray with putrid egg solids, rosemary and mint oils. It seems to work pretty well just spraying around the outside of my beds. You should pop into the thread about the BBQ. Rec or med anyone who has a RIU presence should come.Awesome pics man. I love all the healthy looking girls and your set up. It looks like a nice place to chill and watch the grass grow. I am glad I hopped on before the end of the season for the show.
I am in S OR doing a little Rec grow. I only go through about 2 oz a month so 4 plants in plenty for my needs. I also hate paying for an rx every year when my back condition can't change.
I put up trellis netting for support on my girls. I think I might add a wire cage next year as it looks like it gives great support. My biggest concern here are the Deer. hehe
I topped once and probably should have a second time. The seed is from OGS; and she warned the plants can get tall. We are growing for ourselves and friend, so I wasn't training for maximum production. She's set back 30' from the fence, but walking towards that fence there is a sweet spot where you can see her. I picked up some free bamboo yesterday off of CL; I'm gonna start working on the scaffolding this weekend!Wow, those donkey kong look awesome. Did you too at all?
