Well I have to say that 4 600w definitely won't cover a 10x10 space. But it might do just fine if you hung them barebulb in a 8x8 room. Just let each six hundred have its own 4x4 space and then put your plants around them.Hey boss love the quick response! i've actually been inoculating some of my own ''super soil'' for the past 45 or so days in the begining it had a small but nice micro web of sort, i got excited and mixed that in. Well ever since i did that i havent seen the web since and my soil has been quite moist not wet but damp in a way its browning around the outside which im guessing is humus forming. I am very excited to see what super soil can produce. Right now im looking into building my garden, its going to be indoors 8x8 or 10x10 I have a big question man really need to figure out if i should do 4 400 watts or 4 600watts. Im going to be hopefully comercial gardening in the near future so i need to set my sights on more light spread with still great output and lumens for huge buds. most likely going to be doing cool tubes to me they seem to be more efficient and cheaper than hoods, less room for air to move around in seems better to me. Lets talk people!
You wouldn't need any hoods at all. I'm a huge advocate of barebulb vertical grows. If you had that much space it would be perfect. You could do the plants and the lights in a layout like this...
X O X O X
X O X O X
the x are plants and the o lights. You hang the bulb with a fan directly underneath it to keep it cool and you won't have any issues with heat.
You could run it perpetual and move the more mature plants to place where they are getting light from more than one bulb. You would need a separate veg space tho.
