thanks brotha! yes this is my first attempt at organics, and i have to say i am liking it. with my high grade indoor trim i make bubble hash. anything that isnt to par i usually make iso hash or cannabutter. i am going to do a little experimenting with tincture this harvest. i have some killer bubba kush trim i have been waiting to harvest. come to think of it, i never snapped any photos of the bubba kush, one of my frostiest and best strains i got. cant wait to try her organic style :)
 
Week 5.5 multistrain including super silver haze, bubba kush, pure kush x mbs, deep purple, white widow, trainwreck x earlyskunk, 2- bagseeds, and whiteberry x redwood kush

the deep purple is in the dwc, (the big beast) she is not organic.

LOL That is a great set of strains. I love variety and you sure have a nice variety. Your soil is rockin, no doubt. One can tell by the beauty of above soil.

thanks bro! im looking better at week 5 then when i was growing using synthetic nutrients. i have learned one of the most important things- more is not always better.

i have quiet a wide collection of genetics either preserved in clone or seed form.


i have og kush, afgoo, blackberry, cindy 99, purple diesel, [hollands hope x jack herer x shoreline x herijuana] all comin up. i have a small veg room that prepares while the flowering room finishes. somewhat of a perpetual harvest. i also have a ton of genetics preserved in seed form such as grandaddy kush, purple kush, master kush, mendocino purple, jack the ripper, bastard jack, bastard bubba, bastard haze, [hollands hope x strawberry cough x northern lights], pure kush, bubba kush. i also have a ton that have been bred with eachother. in the flower room i have the ones listed below...

That doesn't look like powdery mildew. It looks as if he had used a foliar feed, and it stained a little. If you never try folia feeding, give it a shot, it does wonders! Great job to all the badass bud shots. Y'all got this down.

Checked out your albums...good stuff man. What you think of the grow bags? Are they better than plastic pots? I imagine the rootzone is able to breath much easier. Do you get water trying to drain out the sides like you do with plastic pots? I always dig somewhat of a pocket near the center of the topsoil. The water then fills in the hole then begins to drain. I have also taken a layer of hydroton and put it over top soil, this helps disperse water as well.

Im sure many people think they have provided a good amount of water but really its just running down the sides. Its actually a skill in itself to water properly LOL.

Huge Difference- Synthetics will yield much more and you can frost them up fairly easy. Potency is lower than Organics and taste is not as good as organics.
Organic have me yielding on average 2-3 oz less per plant but the potency is much higher and the flavors are incredible. Ease of growing is in organics.

I love Smart Pots and will stay with them until something better come along. After my forst harvest with SP I cut the soil right down the middle to look at whats going on with the roots and what I saw was a large root ball in middle and then the roots go straight out to the sides but stop 1 inch before and die off. There where much more roots n the SP than a regular pot and the grow above is awesome. The water trick is to water twice. I water once and wait one hour then water again, other wise like you said the water runs right down the side and there is no roots along the side. I do like your method though to even distribute the water, that and it would protect the mycro herd from light.
 
hey fellas, I'm 4 weeks in to flowering now, I used Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice GROW during VEG except the last 2 weeks I ran out of the grow nutes and used Iguana Juice BLOOM nutes which I regretted doing, made them stretch too much. But I just ran out of BLOOM nutes last week, went to 2 different grow shops and neither of them carry Advanced Nutrients, their agains the company, but the one guy gave me a free sample bottle of General Hydroponics Floracious Super Concentrated Organcic Nutrients. I've been feeding them this the past couple days but I'm kinna in a perdicament and don't know what I should do about nutrients, I have enough from this samIMG_0193.jpgple bottle to last me til the end I think but I want something thats gonna increase trich production, potency, and taste.
