Organic or Hydro?

lol not me but i bet some of the people on here CAN grow them better than the earth. ya the earth has been growing plants for ever but it has in its soil what ever has built up over the years for nutes and rain for water. if you give the plants everything they need, all the time, in near perfect conditions then ya why wouldnt they turn out better?
Well said, I grow in coco hempy buckets. I feed with DNF and supplement with diamond nectar and calmag. In my opinion my plants are lacking nothing... they smell great and the buds are nice and firm, covered with trichomes and ... LARGE :)

Dont miss quote me...

I said : So obviously, anything but organic, is a waste of time, because nature did all the hard work figuring out how to grow these plants for the last billion years, we just have to open our eyes and observe the master gardener herself.

So, I guess your willing to think you can do better than the Earth at growing plants....?

What are we all doing here....?, but trying to grow the BEST, most HIGH QUALITY MEDICINE on EARTH!!!

So, YES, anything but the TRUTH is BULLSHIT in the eyes of evolution and the forces of nature on this planet.

No matter how many bottles you buy, you could never, EVER recreate IDEAL growing conditions in hydro, because the LIVING soil is removed from the picture.

So explain how this is so aburd again?

Are you not seemlessly connected to the eco-system and planet?

Would you want to live off vitamins and IV drip bag? (hydro equivilent)

Or eat a healthy balanced diet, slowly digesting and abosrbing the nutirents your body needs..

I guess we can just hook you right up to the machine, and inject all your body needs, that will make a healthy person right...?
I did not misquote you, I simply quoted the part of that sentence that sounded the most outlandish. Take a look in my garden and tell me I'm wasting my time lol We all have our own favorite methods of gardeing, and no one... (including you) is a fit judge to tell me I'm doing it wrong.

How come all of the "crunchy granola" types get all high and mighty when someone disagrees with their opinion?

Funny thing is I have gotten more organic grown bud that taste like shit (fishy taste to it) than I have hydro. Probably from the grower using organic fish based nutes.

No question that "the hand of the grower" has something to do with taste..in either method. I do prefer organics when done right...just seems to have a better taste..

Whats better organic hydro or organic soil? Or hydro or soil? I didn't think organic was exclusive to either method?

I believe what was implied was organic vs dirt "type" organic medium, soils or not.
Yes, organic is not exclusive to one method. Not many people dare organic-hydro, but I'd like to check it out.

The OP's question may hav read better Chem vs Organic or Salts vs Shitz ?

Organic hydro is not simple, unless u use bottled 'organic' nutes.

Brewing stable teas is not for the beginner IMHO. but if you have that skillset, hydro is not that large of a step.

Losing another patient to lung cancer so for me the additional speed I get from hydro puts more medicine in their jars.

I was thinking organic as in soil..though hydro and organic can work. I grow in soil, pre mixed (my own recipe) then just water throughut the grow Molassas at the end, and that's it. I do get wonderful smell and taste.

Well, I don't know, but since this thread seems to be full of opinions and no supporting facts, I choose to grow organic. A-because I am a beginner and have read that it is the most forgiving method for growing and learning. B-because the start-up costs are so much cheaper! I would like to try growing hydro someday but for now I'm just wanting to get a couple successful harvests.

Have tried soil before and came to the conclusion of DWC and it has been rocking!! love the results and how simple it is to maintain. Organic has me sold of how yummy and smooth it smokes but i prefer growing DWC because of the simplicity.

You said DWC is more simple than putting dirt in a pot. Actually some don't even do that, they just cut the bag of dirt and use it like that.
I must have misunderstood something.

For good dirt, don't you need to mix a few things with it or is all bag dirt just simply stick the cut in and use it?

If you use all Organics you don't need to flush.

I like to mix it up.
I've never hit the sweet spot with just organic nutes.

Speaking of mixing it up:
I made my own with Shake-n-Bake

I named that picture "MakeupLight" because AlienTech was already taken...

It Doesn't Work

Worth a Shit

So I'm thinking of adding some to my grow.
