Organic Resin Boost

well I got snow storm so I won't need to brew anything except my tea that I feed to the soil. As for cloning I don't have the resources for it so i wouldn't even be able to keep it going. most likely I have some hermies so maybe they'll spit out some pollen and I can get some seeds from redbud.

They sell take root powder at walmart, i think its like $4 a bottle. (edit: Reading your post again it sounds like you might mean you dont have an indoor grow setup, woops)
Are they stress induced hermies or genetic hermies?

Genetic Hermies, I don't have an area nor do I have the blessings of the people whom own this house to have something of that sort and then if I did keep a clone it would be only a matter of time before I have to retire it and then the strain would be lost for ever haha. Is there a better Hermie haha

"Organic is like pregnant" to quote another riu user. You either are or you aren't. Cannabis genetics and the ideal 100% organic environment is what makes MY buds so frosty flavorful! The resins are built into good genetics, they don't come from an overpriced, misleadingly labeled bottle of anything.

i have done side by side with and without snowstorm on identical clones from the same branch on the mom, and i can positively say ive seen a significant increase in the ones that received snowstorm. i see it primarily in the hash, the plants grow trichomes in places they weren't before. i get more hash from snowstorm sprayed and fed plants.

no doubt...but what the hell is in it? I personally don't like to put all that bs on my plants

It's triacontanol.
Yea that stuff..It's supposedly in Alfalfa naturally, you just have to brew it out.

Regardless of whats in it us as humans consume a gambit of unhealthy stuff in our existence. You don't think vegetables have some crazy shit in them to get them to grow huge or ward off pests. Im not saying that I would toss a bunch of toxic waste into my garden but if there is a possibility that I can make a plant that doesn't have a high resin gene more resinous then I think it's not so crazy to give it a shot. Also can't you get all sorts of sick using organics anyways given you use feces from a sick animal to feed your plants?

Just food for thought. Not trying to start a war or step on anyones toes. just saying there isn't always a organic substitute for everything and if there is it doesn't perform as well as some chemicals made to get certain results

alpha alpha has it naturally(hormones). hell you could use a solvent and extract it yourself if you wanted, a "tea" wont bring it out but it will be in there should you use alpha alpha. when it really come down to what organic substance has the most beneficial amt.s of hormones it would be seaweed extract and its gibrellins all day.

but your right buddy not everyhing needs to be "orgnaic" in life just need to be good clean weed:)

So foliar feeding with seaweed would prove beneficial for resin production ?

Im not about to use a solvent..thats just asking for all sorts of problems with burning leaves haha

well if you use the solvent correctly no problems at all. anyways moving on...

yes foliar feeding w/ seaweed would prove useful for resin production and the size of the buds.

The thing is, they don't actually tell you what is in the bottle because it's a "supplement". Maybe is the triacontanol, maybe it's something else. I don't use anything that I can't reference thoroughly. If someone is growing only for themselves, fine, do whatever you like. If you're growing for others, you should have a bit more of a conscience.

yes dilute well use everyother day with water, seaweed is a food for fungi, on the other day just us eplain water.
no but this is the organic growing forum so that is the primary area of discussion here, organic cultivation, not synthetic.
you are correct, i just see the grey between the 2 a lot of things that are considered not "orgnaic" are derived from organic substances but your right, although, i am by no means promoting the use of snowstorm or synthetics since there is some possibly for disaster, and i am definitely encouraging the use of natural products:)
