Here are a couple of shots.. starting to pack on some weight now..

Little concerned about one spot.. I'm pretty sure it might be the first signs of a Mg deficiency ... check it out though (last photo) wouldn't mind your opinion..

It's not on the newest growth, nor is it on the oldest.. its right in the middle of the plant... I have some general organics CalMag.. but are epsom salts better/more fast acting?

Fuck you are smart.. I sprayed them with my AACT tea.. probably the light burning them!

Update time: Not sure how far along I am.. I'll have to go back to my journal to find out roughly.. Pretty happy so far. Wish I would've vegged some more but other than lack of bud sites I've got some nice colas...

Really happy that I don't have any nute or pH issues this time around (touch wood).. Lime Lime Lime!

only time you will ge tthe exact same pheno is when you clone....otherwise every plant is going to be different in some way or another...may not be able to see the difference but no 2 plants are going to be the same...same as no 2 people will share the same excat genetic code...im pretty sure that goes for plants as well...unless produced asexually or cloned...

some plants (like some cactus) will produce offspring that grow right off of them like a tumor...not sure how the genetics work there....

no biology wiz though so may want to look into it.

You're right in that the genes will always be different from one seed to another... in fact the odds of them being the exact same is higher than the number of atoms in the universe!!..

Phenotype depends on how much the plants differ, as they can have most of the same characteristics depending on how they were bred..

Of course with naturally occurring land races (growing wild) there will be lots of genetic variation.... however the plant will tend to express very few phenotypes. Their genetic code will be rich with diversity but the genetic expression will likely only give you one or two phenotypes as selective pressures select for genes that confer the most benefits to the plant. At least this is how I understand it.

As far as breeders that sell seeds to us.. not sure how many generations they breed for etc.. but its definitely interesting stuff.

The Querkles are both amazing.. really long full trichomes compared to my Ak-47.. the Ak-47 yielded WAYYYY more..

Lights out.. tonight is the big chop... had a little bit of amber on my ak-47 but mostly 100% cloudy on the Querkle's..

The size of the trichs between the ak and Querkle is quite noticeable..

I took a few pictures but they are all blurry .. here is the only one that is half in focus.. this is the Querkle..

The Ak-47 is basically one huge cola with nothing else .. its pretty cool.. but wish I would've vegged out more.. I didn't get half the harvest I did last run.. but much happier with my results.. I only saw deficiency issues at the end of the grow (last 2 weeks at the most)

I've got a little clone that I'm trying force back into veg.. hopefully she pulls through so I can put her outside in a few weeks.

ahhh, spring is amung us. time to break out the gardening equipment and set up for summer.....not sure if ill be doing anything outdoors this year or not. Its definatly a possibility if i move as ill be more in the woods and be able to conceal a bit better but having a couple of kids running around it gets harder and harder every year to hide what they are.

Yeah I'll just be planting the one plant.. I put it in the centre of my cherry tomatoes which grow HUGE and train it down... last year grew from seed and ended up with a male though.. don't want to make that mistake again

yeah when only growing 1 plant its tough to grow out reg beans because by the time you find out sex generally its too late. best of luck with your adventure

keep an eye out on the attitude's website, they usually have a pretty solid promo for 4-20 and alot of times you can get a good amount of beans for like 70 bucks...when buying beans the best time is promotions, they make the added cost well worth it and i dont think i have grown anything from the tude that wasnt great quality genetics.

well just looked and the 420 promo isnt really that great but for 50 bucks you can still walk out with a pack of beans of your choice and about 7 freebies.

Well beanhoarder is the breeder for Hemp Depot from my understanding or at least that's the only place I've seen his gear.. he sells his beans for a ridiculous price.. like 40 - 80 for 20 beans..
Does a lot of strain crosses not unlike what you're doing.. the ak-47 x blockhead was from him...

They also have the best prices that I've found on the TGA gear which seems popular on this site.

yeah i think TGA is popular because subcool is pretty heavy into these boards. thier prices are reasonable though and i have heard nothing but good things about his genetics so i dont think they are that bad but i do belive his participation in these boards allows him more advertisement for his gear.

almost 800 bucks for a 10 pack of fem seeds.....i mean thats just fucking insane. theres a few other breeders with rediculesly high prices too. cant think of the name of the breeder's but i remember coming across a strain that i liked and looking at a 600$ price tag for a 5 pack of reg seeds i decided ill probablly never grow them genetics lol
