I just chopped a 3' Blackberry plant grown from a feminized seed. I grew the plant in a 3 gallon bubble bucket under a 400w HPS using the Lucas Formula with GH 3-Series (Grow omitted). I also added CalMag+ due to RO water being used and AquaShield for the roots.
The information from the seed bank stated that the strain was Indica-dominant with a flowering period of 55-65 days. After 65 days of 12/12, the plant looked nowhere near ready to chop. The hairs were about 95% white and new and the trichomes were all clear. I ended up chopping her at 14 weeks (98 days) and only because little bananas started growing on the tops of the flowers and even caused a few seeds to begin to grow.
I am thinking this happened because I overshot the harvest window. My question is what could make the plant continue to flower to the extent that it does not look mature enough to harvest?
The potency was not that good either, which further makes me think I over-grew. Any input is greatly appreciated.
