Can anybody tell me a good home remedy to clean my grow room with ,had a bad case this summer (pm) it’s been pretty cold for the last month will that kill it?Any serious answers will be appreciated
 
Hydrogen peroxide spray down.

You can also wash everything possible with a bleach solution.

The biggest thing to remember is PM spores are always present, it's up to you to ensure that your grow room conditions aren't conducive to PM growth. Controlling temps and humidity is key. Any foliar applications should always pH slightly alkaline (8.0).
 
I’m personally doing a Sulfur burn since my flower room is just about finished and i’ve been fighting PM this round. Doing that a few hours a day for a few days then a bleach spray. Hoping that eliminates the spores then it should stay at bay since my environment is dialed in fully
 
Bleach / Water spray ..... all surfaces .
Pull pans , saucers , whatever.


Then hit it with a big fucking can of LYSOL ( seriously ) that shit really stomps ass. It can be used for bug issues in grow area ( after harvest ) too.

50 / 50 bleach water, it is a mold killer. Don't forget to bleach spray your fans, filter cover etc. Next grow keep the humidity down, (50 to 60) and temp up, (70 to 80), and you will be good to go
 
From my research it seems the sulfur does do a pretty good job of eliminating the spores...
Seems like it has the highest chance for not seeing it in your next run..

Obviously not having the environment for PM to flourish will help.

My room is 80 lights on and 35humidity and 75 lights off and 30-40 humidity with 3 circ fans and still sting PM pop up.
So i think my environment is good but the spores are lurking

Spores are always present, always. You can drastically reduce the quantity of spores of course but there will still be some unless you have a clean room setup.

The environmental conditions are the key to preventing a PM outbreak. I find it very odd that you are getting PM growth when conditions aren't conducive. Something is up there and warrants investigation IMO. I can have a PM outbreak start (couple spots of a few lower leaves) and not even remove effected leaves and just changing the humidity / temp issue stops it from getting any worse.

I'm in the same boat. I've been fighting pm. I tried 3% hydrogen peroxide foliage application seemed to help but it damaged the canopy. I switched to Green Cure it seems to have wiped it out. I also added a fresh air supply to my flower room which helps but the temperature has dropped by 10 degrees "lights on". Cheers

Yeah well haah that’s not the case in my room.

So everything is coming down in the next week and getting a sulfur burn and a bleach down in the flower room
and every fan and light.

Yes with the conditions changed i have not seen a stop to it.

if there’s any Pm on a leaf even with the humidity and temps right i feel like the fans can just blow a spore to another plant.

Where i’m getting air from has a brand new filter than i believe you recommend actually.
The room has been lightly cleaned and nothing changed.
So i’m at a loss why it’s still popping up, but pretty sick of plucking leaves and shit. Hoping after these girls come out, cleaning it and getting the spores gone, it’s not as fun when the whole time your searching for PM rather than enjoying it and acutally gardening haha D845F231-9CFC-4E6D-A032-E45CEB50942B.pngp
What would you mean by means investigating ?
Is there like another aspect ?

I’m running a RDWC. Is there like Pm on the rockwool or the stones that are causing it to linger ?

Im hoping once everything is out of the room and now the room is a lot better sealed and shit I don’t see it come back because of old spores

My problem was I tried my first indoor summer grow and got home on some days and my room temperature was crazy like 95 and humidity 80+ I didn’t have ac or dehumidifier my environment was terrible from me working to much so now I just wanna make it safe again for another successful winter grow
 
I never even heard of PM when I grew in missouri, never had low humidity. Moved to colorado and bam. The low humidity. PM absolutely loves times of low humidity with times of higher humidity. It's likely that with RH% in the 20's that the plants transpiring at night could cause the leafs to sweat enough to make the PM grow.

It sounds odd but I suggest adding humidity and keeping it between 45 and 50% all the time. Never let it drop low.
