Now i water like 3-4 times a day, everyday, with a lil dropper i got with my pH adjusting kit, so what he had posted is that if you let the soil dry out, then the roots dig down deep for water, so i was thinking since i water everyday, maybe since there is constantly water on top of the soil, the roots never really had to dig deep down to search for some more, i never watered my plant where the run out would come out the bottom until i was a couple weeks into flower if i remember correctly, something to think about

Yea man, this theory is correct in part because roots will not grow as fast in the presence ofmore water, too much water and they don't grow at all, they rot Hence Root Rot.
Keeping the top of the pot wet causes smaller side roots to shoot out rather than down.
