Why were you turned away? I would gnaw through concrete to vote, it's not like elections happen without warning.
And after I voted for him and he lost, I did the responsible thing and worked my ass off for Hillary, a candidate I did not like. I knew what Trump meant.

LOL It looks like Progressives(tm) are looking at the success on the progressive's side and trying to claim it for their own.
While it is not to be expected that an organization like Our Revolution sees all its candidates rush to victory, it is not exactly a secret that Bernie’s electoral appeal/ power seems to have disappeared entirely.
In fact, to hide their complete lack of electoral successes, Our Revolution now proceeds to support moderate Clinton/ Obama Democrats and claims their victory as their own.
A Perfect example of this is Randall Woodfin, the Alabama State Director of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, who was endorsed by OR and, when he won his election for Birmingham mayor, celebrated as a typical OR victory.
A more recent example is the late endorsement of Stacey Abrams for Georgia Governor. Abrams, whose campaign started in June, appears to do very well in recent polls after which OR jumped on board and endorsed her. In a typical attempt to make it appear as if Our Revolution is doing fine, OR now endorses moderate/ centrist candidates.

I preferred the earlier schuylaar who could admit that she forgot to change her registration from independent to Democrat.
This dishonest version should be rebooted and the earlier version restored.

Whenever I see more anti-Hillary sentiment from a leftie then people with #MAGA and #christian in their bio I assume it’s because they were in the same position as you but ended up picking Trump. Rather than recognizing that mistake, forgiving themselves, and wising up, they continue to blame “Crooked H”.
If you all plan to remain the “United” States, forgive the ones who voted Trump, point your arrows at the ones who still support him.
It’s an idealistic delusion you get to vote for “your” candidate. All you can do is vote for the lesser evil or go into politics yourself.

"I won't stand for trampling upon my rights as a voter" The truth of the matter is, as she said days after the Florida primary in 2016, she forgot that she was registered Independent and as was clearly stated years ago, Florida runs a closed primary.
I think Democrats should run closed primaries too. Fuck the idea of allowing people who aren't part of the party to vote on our choice for the nomination. I think a six-month deadline before the election is almost too generous.

Remember, when voting in a primary you're choosing who will represent the Party, it's NOT a national election.

When it came time to vote in the primary you were still registered as a Independent

You not voting was not do to voter suppression, but instead it was because of voters ignorance. Wearing a Bernie suit and wig will not automatically enable you to cast a vote at the polls. Hope lesson was learned.

The rules change doesn't prevent Bernie from registering for Democrat just before he announces, as he did in 2015. I'd block that kind of last minute switch but that's not what the new rules say.
