$18000 was
there's still a missing $1.8 million though

Why were you turned away? I would gnaw through concrete to vote, it's not like elections happen without warning.no but it makes me fight harder
on voter suppression issues.
i remember that day many were turned away including a millennial couple with baby stroller. the wife was blaming husband and said 'i hope our vote wasn't the one needed to put him over the top'..too bad that was already decided for us.
we the people are waiting to speak our voices- and we will roar.
"it's time for you to choose a side"Stop! You are making him feel less special. Respect the green type!
I preferred the earlier schuylaar who could admit that she forgot to change her registration from independent to Democrat.no but it makes me fight harder
on voter suppression issues.

And after I voted for him and he lost, I did the responsible thing and worked my ass off for Hillary, a candidate I did not like. I knew what Trump meant.
Sulking is the choice of so many.Whenever I see more anti-Hillary sentiment from a leftie then people with #MAGA and #christian in their bio I assume it’s because they were in the same position as you but ended up picking Trump. Rather than recognizing that mistake, forgiving themselves, and wising up, they continue to blame “Crooked H”.
If you all plan to remain the “United” States, forgive the ones who voted Trump, point your arrows at the ones who still support him.
It’s an idealistic delusion you get to vote for “your” candidate. All you can do is vote for the lesser evil or go into politics yourself.
Seriously pathetic.I preferred the earlier schuylaar who could admit that she forgot to change her registration from independent to Democrat.
This dishonest version should be rebooted and the earlier version restored.
Her posts have become disjointed and incoherent lately.Seriously pathetic.
Because that's inclusive, that's democracywhy should you get to vote in our primary?
Except that Primaries are party affairs, I'm not offended I don't get a vote in the Republican one...why not?Because that's inclusive, that's democracy
Democracy is having everyone involved in the voting process being able to cast their vote for the candidate they believe reflects their best interests
Why would anyone oppose this?
Are you opposed to direct democracy? 1 person 1 vote?
Shouldn't primaries on both sides be open, to allow more potential voters to vote?Except that Primaries are party affairs, I'm not offended I don't get a vote in the Republican one...why not?
Because I'm not a Republican.
Shouldn't primaries on both sides be open, to allow more potential voters to vote?
Nope, because that would allow strategic disruptive voting from people hostile to the party.Shouldn't primaries on both sides be open, to allow more potential voters to vote?
It isn't just her. It's all three of them. But she is pretty clearly the least intelligent so hers are very much the worst of the three. Her posts have become disjointed and incoherent lately.
"I won't stand for trampling upon my rights as a voter" The truth of the matter is, as she said days after the Florida primary in 2016, she forgot that she was registered Independent and as was clearly stated years ago, Florida runs a closed primary.
I think Democrats should run closed primaries too. Fuck the idea of allowing people who aren't part of the party to vote on our choice for the nomination. I think a six-month deadline before the election is almost too generous.
Some states do have open primaries geez it should be a test to qualify to vote.Shouldn't primaries on both sides be open, to allow more potential voters to vote?
Bernie isnt running as a dem again@schuylaar you suppressed your own vote by not registering as a Democrat. The day Bernard Sanders announce he would be running as a dem you should have immediately switch your voter registration from Indy to Dem, instead you started a thread on RIU.
When it came time to vote in the primary you were still registered as a Independent.
You not voting was not do to voter suppression, but instead it was because of voters ignorance. Wearing a Bernie suit and wig will not automatically enable you to cast a vote at the polls. Hope lesson was learned.
NoShouldn't primaries on both sides be open, to allow more potential voters to vote?
The rules change doesn't prevent Bernie from registering for Democrat just before he announces, as he did in 2015. I'd block that kind of last minute switch but that's not what the new rules say.Bernie isnt running as a dem again
