Alright! I agree that he covers pretty good basics. But hes an old time grower. Alot of his techniques are not wrong but outdated.

I wouldint do SCROG on your first grow. Right now your still watching for every leaf to pop out! lol. So just enjoy your first grow.

IF ANYTHING I would do LST. But still thats a more advanced technique.
For everyones first grow I would just use the "topping" technique. Its simple and saves space. Ya you may have to clip her early but thats what a PC case grow pretty much amounts to.

As far as when to switch to 12/12. I would do it now. I accually would have switched when they all sprouted. It will not stress the plant at all. Nothing wrong with it and in my opinion thats the best way to grow.
You have pretty much NO Space to work with. You need to get that plant to bud and slightly mature in a very small amount of time so it wont get to big.
You dont want the female to get to big or you will have to clip the main cola(depressing) and just have the small buds on the shoots. (not fun)

Just my 2cents : )

Well Kinda...

Its mostly done with like a net or chicken wire.

Then as the top grows through one hole you bend it under another until the top grows up again. Then Repeat.

Causeing many shoots and maximum light access to the plant.
So even though your in a small space. You can maximize your lighting to the plant.

Hey whats up TG!

Congrads on switching to 12/12,ull do fine!

And yes the first grow always takes forever, But thats just because your paying so much attention and giving them so much care.

The next grow wont be so nerve racking and will be enjoyable and youll know whats going on.

The first grow is always the greatist because your so focused on those little plants! lol!

your plants are overheated they leaves are curling down on the edges more fan!
See thats what i thought but everyone seemed not to worried about it..... so i will work on that today but originally it happened a couple days ago when i changed some things around running 3 lights then had a fan and i noticed right a away with that setup the temp shot up a lot and next thing you know they were curling up before that with the setup im using again they never did that... usually how long should it take for it to go back to normal if the environment is back to a healthy place for the plants

They don't look bad for their age but you could cover the pop bottle with a sleeve of somekind (i use duck tape) to keep the roots away from the light if you make it removeable you can check on the roots

Im just wondering is there a reason my one plant has leaves curling/growing sideways cause a new set is growing two nodes up and one of them is doing the same.... heres an example of the first time it happened
