I read that the PCK has two main phenos...a purple one and a more potent green one. I guess they were bred that way to keep the gene pool real as a true hashplant.
i also read an article about Urkle and some of the other Cali purple strains...(Lavender etc) and PCK were all the same cut renamed....article was called Grapes of Wrath..i think Subcool wrote it in high times.

I think I've read that article a few times, I think it's on here even. I think sub said the lavender was different than erkle but I can't really remember and I've never had it. I know GDP and the Grape Ape hybrid were similar to my erkle hybrid with the taste and smell, some were better than others was all. I wouldn't be surprised myself if all the PK clones derived from the PCK...The Early purple kush smelled like cherries and grape and the DPD x BR is grapey blackberry. Both the BR and DPD are hybrids of blackberry, which as I mentioned is thought to also be from PCK.Thats pretty sexy Pipe

The others like erkle, GDP, and my king's kush seem to be totally different line or pheno of any of those.

Things are going good.
I made something up for light.
Its 4-68 w CFL's.
278 total watts.
4200 lumens each
16800 total.
Not too bad...
For now there in a make shift veg area. Until I receive my tent.
The one photo of the seedlings down the tube are pre-massacre. Thats before my dog ate em...so a few days ago.
Then all the others are current from today.

I still gotta tweak some issues I am having with this grow , after tonight thou things should be smooth sailing. I hate to do it but some of them are going into my flower box a bit early.

A bunch of photos!
First few pics are the light system I rigged up.
Trying to get into breeding some Bennies to help me fight this algae. Its not attacking my rez, just the tops of most the pots. I believe this is from not using a fan in the start of this operation.
And this is just happening in my veg room, not the plants in the flowering. Regardless, its beneficial beyond fighting algae.
Its also I just started adding rock wool pieces to my medium. I will try a higher ratio of clay to rock wool next time.

Thanks. They are coming along nicely.
The three bigger ones actually are going in to the flower box to sex any day now. Just waiting on a bit more growth from the sides in case one is a female , I can clone her for breeding. All males will be flowered for pollen.
Now its just the waiting game on this slow growing strain.

She looks good and finished but I'm waiing until the seeds look a little more ripe to harvest. Than I'll plant some more seeds to flower when my sativas finish up. I still have a clone of this so I might not do any more purple for a little bit.

Fucking pck's are getting treated like whores!
Came in to see the CFL's fell over onto the plants and knocked over a few pots. I need my fucking grow tent! It kills me to be this un-organized. Its actually pissing me off.
So ontop of some of the fan leafs burning, I might have a few stunted seedlings due to the pots tipping and falling more than 12 inches.
So being that its 4/20 today, Im gonna smoke a shit tons of weed, play some tiger woods and forget about this fucking nightmare til my grow tent gets here.
Next update should be when I have the tent all setup -/+ 5 days.
