Lock trump up
When the time is right, don't indict him yet FFS! He will win the election for you, as he comes apart at the seams trying to out run the law. He will make them run on the big lie and will attack those who don't. If Donald can't own the republican party he will burn the GOP down on the way to the big house. If they have a war inside the GOP in the middle of an election it could suppress 10 to 20% of their vote, if things got real ugly and with Trump they always do. With Donald in deeper trouble everyday and the GOP establishment and foxnews turning on him, anything is possible.

For what reason?
Tax fraud.

Obstructing justice.

Witness tampering (if it is actually something different than the last one).

Disinfranchising voters with his call to Georgia's SoS to try to get him to dump votes for him.

There are others, but really at the end of the day 12 American jurors should be the ones to sit and listen to all the evidence and decide his guilt.

Thanks for the info, when does the trials start?

I don't work for the DoJ so I have no clue. But there was something today about a judge kicking out Trump's stupid trolling about having POTUS immunity (again). My guess is sometime within the next couple years though.

Interesting, assuming your projection is correct, that should leapfrog DeSantis ahead of Trump in their primary. Perfect timing.

Oh God, it's all over. China made good on their threat and blocked the biscuits.

I understand that china has scheduled an extensive military drill around Taiwan on Thursday, their time, that would be tomorrow sometimes our time.

They supposedly will surround Taiwan's coast line with navel vessels. The drill will start shortly after Pelosi’s departure.

This could be messy, Taiwan says their ready for anything China throws at them. My words, not theirs.

So, hold onto your hat partner, this mess could start in the next 30 hours.

What To Know About Pelosi’s Taiwan Trip

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan has led to heightened tensions between China and the U.S. over the island’s political status. What you need to know about Pelosi visiting Taiwan.

Q: Why is Pelosi traveling to Taiwan?
A: Taiwan has always been on her bucket list of places she’s wanted to escalate foreign tensions.

Q: Why is China against the trip?
A: Chinese leaders are concerned about the negative impact of excessive air travel on the planet.

Q: Why do the trip now?
A: Words cannot describe the beauty of Taipei in August.

Q: What does Pelosi hope to accomplish with her visit?
A: Foster a better understanding of how her semiconductor stocks are performing.

Q: How is China responding?
A: With a total bloodbath of harsh rhetoric that the U.S. will never recover from.

Q: Are the Chinese reading too much into U.S. policy?
A: Yes, they need to understand that the majority of American lawmakers don’t even know what Taiwan is.

Q: What is Pelosi’s message to the Taiwanese people?
A: She sincerely hopes they vote Democrat in the midterms.

Q: Will escalating tensions affect the Little League World Series team Taipei is sending to Williamsport this year?
A: Lord, we hope not. Have you seen how well Liao Kuan-shu is pitching?

Q: How has President Biden responded?
A: Biden took serious issue with Pelosi’s plan to visit Taipei’s Ming Fu restaurant, which he has long maintained doesn’t deserve its Michelin star.

Q: Does Taiwan even want Pelosi to come?
A: Who gives a shit what Taiwan thinks? This is about us and China.

Even though I can't stand Pelosi, she has yuge balls. The Administration supports one-China officially and Pelosi publicly supports Taiwan independence.

China sees them as simply Baizuo either way. Trump had them burning evidence as they were kicked out of the Consulate and now Pelosi is on this. She, of course is entitled to express her personal opinion on Taiwanese independence and to travel anywhere that invites her so on this issue I truly wish the best.

I owever can't help but see the irony here in that she is visiting the world's Chip mfg after passing the chip act with the open question of why her husband heavily invested in chips just before both.

China has some big ass financial trouble coming. Their real-estate is about to implode. I think I read a bit ago that it's like literally the world largest financial asset.

My guess is that her husband is rich af and is invested in a lot of areas. And with the importance of micro chips being used in everything, it is a really smart thing to diversify into. Are you claiming that he just bought into the the market? How would American manufacturing being boosted like in the CHIP bill impact the market for Taiwanese one's stock prices?

But you are right about Pelosi being a badass. I loved when she dunked on Trump's tough guy act right in his face. That was great.

If Taiwan fell into conflict, what impact would it have on the chip market, care to guess? Not a gotcha, I don't know the numbers.
