More than that. If something is out in plain view for everyone to see, it is public. Like the shirt you wear when walking down the street, or the dust art on the back of your car, an ad on the side of a bus, whether that bus is privately run or not, is in public view. Therefore, if in plain view, it is under public scrutiny.
the world would be a better place if everyone would keep their religious beliefs to themselves.
religion is just that..a belief..as individual as the person who is in "belief" has the right, the one without also has the right to be free of/from.
it is tiring to lump religious ideology and infuse into the day-to-day living with those who are non-believers and frankly, unfair to the non-believer to live their lives free.
have your bible, quran or torah..at home, in your personal space where you are free.
the public view is not such a space.
it belongs to the public..that means everyone, not just you..to disrespect? then you are a trouble maker forcing your ideology on all.

If the public space is owned by everyone, how can you ever administer the rules within it without stepping on somebodies toes?
