Yes PH is important i'm sure people have been growing weed for centuries with PH testers (made in 1934) and they could never grow a plant worth smoking.

buffer your soil with lime and you never have to worry about PH. does anyone think for a minute that farmers ph adjust thousands of gallons of irrigation water each year??

current indoor growing is not like growing plants in the ground and mass production

but i do get what you mean, the way people used to grow everything else is slightly different then what we do now with pot . . . .

MJ and tulips are different, and so are apple trees, cabage, onions . . . i mean unless you are growing just like an agricultural farmer, id say adding lime may not be a end allbe all soution, but its a start

its in my SS, and dolomite is in my HP pro mix . . . ..but also sometimes i need to make solutions that need attention before use

The only time i ph any water is for cloning. Who else uses ph'd water for cloning? The only reason I do that is cause i have a hydro book that says to for cloning. I just took 2 more clones yesterday and i'm not ph'ing the water, will see if it works the same. For soil growing, just add some dolomite to the soil mix and don't worry about ph of the water.

I keep Ph in mind when mixing things but I never add Ph Up or Ph Down. I measure the Ph of everything that will go into my soil and i do the "Ph Math" in my head when mixing if that makes any sense at all.

Hell no they don't. There is no need to check ph for ground water. Lime is good but not always good enough for the city's lethal mix of cancer causing chemicals.
