Seedling I used one lamp at max height (7 foot tent) at max power (no potentiometer connected to the light) so about 260w..
Veg - if I remember around 36inch
Flower 20-22inch

I used one lamp for the first 2-3 weeks I think - as long as one light was covering them enough then added the second one so I could spread the girls better in the tent..

You will have to see how your plant takes it as other factors can impact height..

Dont worry about smoking your board.. there is a video on youtube of someone trying to burn them and before he succeeded he had to push them so much its very very unlikely.. ive added some little 6inch fan that blow on the heatsink just for a little more cooling or else they will get pretty hot.. probably not to a point of hot that it will burn your led but small fans are so cheap I didnt care adding it for additional cooling

OK.. day 20. Starting some LST and I did some pruning of the biggie fan leaves that are blocking new growth of shoots underneath. I bought a new timer that will cycle the exhaust fan on and off every 15 minutes. I also turned the lights down a little on my Dual QB-304 LEDs to try and lower heat. Temps range from 76 to 83 w/ lights on. Humidity ranges from 45 - 65. I have one Blurple in the middle with only the red light on to give it some additional waves to grow on. No problems I'm aware of so far. I do see some white residue almost powdery when it dries on the bottoms and along the sides of some of the cloth pots. I'm assuming it is from the added perlite. I shall be vigilant to watch and insure it isn't mold. Haven't added any nutes yet. I figger I'll wait another week or add when I see any signs of deficiency. I ordered a second Dual QB-304 set w/ 2 240-2100 drivers and will move 8 girls into my second tent later this week once I get the lights setup or when the plants outgrow a single 4x4 tent.

I assume my lights are close enough since I'm not seeing any stretch on the plants . I'm estimating lights are 30" away. I was hoping to induce some stretch to assist in LST , but I also see the main stems are pretty thick and somewhat resisting the training. I'm getting a definite lean on most w/ some bending. Day 3 on LST so I figure I'll add a little of that skill to each grow as time goes on.

OK.. I've started adding nutes. I'm using Fox Farms stuff. I added Big Bloom & Grow Big. The plants are starting budding so I'll add Tiger Bloom and feed every other watering.

I notice the plants drooping from time to time. They usually pick up after a dark cycle. Temps staying 75-79 degrees as I'm running a window AC in the room and run exhaust fan when lights on. I also have the exhaust fan cycle on and off during lights off too.

I've added more water as I see the plants are getting thirstier now that the girls are in a growth spurt here

So youll be using 520w vs your friend at 1000w or so and yield about the same (other factors to consider too) but sounds pretty amazing to me good luck with your grow and keep in mind those white LED will require a bit more cal-mag than other lights so just make sure you plan for that !

Cal Mag deficiency? None of my other plants have issues ( 15 more in 2 - 4x4 tents ) . This is my biggest plant. Some leaves (on this plant )are looking a little yellow and now seeing the spots. I'm using Fox Farms Ocean Floor and the Fox Farms Nutes. Just really started adding nutes on the 4th week. These sprouted 1 month ago. Spots started last 3 days I'd say

I just fed for the 2nd time today. Used all 3 of the Fox Farms nutes at 1/2 strength. Added in cal-mag caps to water too

I guess everything is OK. I gave them a light feeding ( 1/2 strength ) Fox Farms Trio nutes per the instructions, molasses and cal-mag boost. Plants perked up and are doing a growth spurt thing.
