It's been working pretty good for me too. I like it. Took a little bit to understand them and how to implement them properly, but once you get it dialed in, they're pretty good.

Thanks, Ambz! It's my first one here on RU. Glad to you and everyone else is a part of it. I'm excited to see how she turns out. The tric's have already spread completely on the closest 2 sets or so of water leaves. I haven't see tric development on plants this fast before. Everyday is just frostier than the last! lol
That sounds delicious though. Makes me wonder if such a restaurant exists where you can order meals like that. I can just imagine, "Yes, I'll take the Northern Light Lasagna with the THC garlic bread with a bottle of cherry tonic."
I would die a happy man if I could eat there just once. If one does not exist, someone reading this make one PLEASEEEE! And for as far as Ground Hog's Day goes(Happy GHD to you too
), it's going to be a mighty fine "winter" for another 6 weeks with these 60 degree days here in the midwest. It's been warmer than Florida and Cali at some point this winter. WTF?? We had maybe 2 inches of snow and a 1/2 inch of ice this season. Last year I had snow up to my hips... This weather is nuckin' futs man!

Buds are slowly filling in and tric production isn't stopping anytime soon. So, I guess I'll just keep posting some bud porn every several days or so and anything major that happens with the plant. Stay medicated everyone!

That's because unless you have some sort of reason to want to believe AN is a bunch of bad guys you don't tend to assume the worst of them.
Of course if you do then you'll be confused by anything they do that doesn't fit the money-grubbing demonization you want to fit them for.
This can be a little confusing. You're talking about the non-pH Perfect 3 part, Grow/Micro/Bloom rather than the Jungle Juice 3 part (which is also not pH Perfect) also designated by Grow/Micro/Bloom, right? Just so everyone's clear there's the Jungle Juice 3 part that has three bottles labeled, individually, as "Grow", "Micro", and Bloom. Then there's the higher quality three part simply called "Grow", "Micro", and "Bloom" which comes in the original formula as well as the new pH Perfect formula. And you're using the second one if I understand correctly.

I'm using the non-pH perfect 3-part Grow/Micro/Bloom. I'm not touching the over priced Jungle Juice for a base. It's a base! LOL Plus, the gmb 3-part is pretty good. It does the trick at maintaining a healthy plant with no nute def's. However, it is EXTREMELY salty. I don't suggest ever going over 2ml/1gal for feeding. It will burn your plants alive. Especially if your running additives. I learned the hard way :/

Tmac, you are really confused about the AN lineup. The Jungle Juice is their cheapest 3 part lineup that they sell. It was put on the market to compete directly with GH 3 part at a lower cost. I am thinking you were thinking about possibly the connoisseur 2 part?

I wouldn't say "really confused." In fact, I understand all of their products. As far as pricing, you might get me there. I know that BF-X, Voodoo Juice, and Rhino Skin are retardedly expensive for what their worth. (It's called Aqua Shield, Silica Blast, and a good root system = 1/4th of the cost and same yield). Yeah, I dropped some cash on their products because I was curious about AN's rep. Honestly, I think my money could have served me just as much good if not better, if I went to a different company (Soul Synthetics). Either way, I'm not interested in Jungle Juice, pricing-or-results. I'm sorry to have spread such slanderous lies about JJ/AN
lolz I know Connoisseur is their 2-part, much like Sensi Grow/Bloom A&B. Another over priced product (conni), imo. It's a base! And can fry your plants if you use AN's feeding chart. It seems like they try and push your plants to the maximum stress limit "without" hurting your crop. I have a few quandaries and beef's with that theory though. Not buying it.

Day 40 of flowering:
This plant is covered in trichomes!!! I can't work at pruning and training her without getting covered in fruity, delicious sticky-ness. The smell is unreal. As soon as I open the tent, all I smell is sweet, watermelon's with an over tone of fruity skunk. Mmm.
It's funny because I will start working on the plant and brush up against it. As soon as I do, I stop and smell it because it smells so good! Maintenance goes from 15 - 30 minutes to 45 - 1 hour. LOL I can't wait for harvest. The main cola's are pretty chunky now. I have like 5 colas that have 6"+ long buds. She's still drinking well over 1 gallon a day. The root mass is so huge that it's taking up atleast a 1/2 gallon of volume in the reservoir. When I switch the reservoir out, I can't fit 1/4 of the 2 gallons that the waterfarm holds in there because of them. Crazy!
Temps are good 73-80. RH is 20-30%. pH is never a problem. Water doesn't sit in the reservoir long enough to spike up or down. PPM's are right below 1000. I'm feeding 10ml (<2ml/gal) of the 3-part base total, and 15ml (2ml/gal) for the Voodoo juice, B-52, Big Bud, Overdrive, and Bud Candy total. I have noticed though, since using Bud Candy, the aroma has become a little bit sweeter? I don't know. Kinda smell's artificial, imo. I haven't really made up my mind if I like it or not... In any case, BUD PORN!!!

Looking GREAT!!!! I would suggest stopping using VooDoo Juice asap though. There is no use for it at this point in the plants life! Save your $.
About the Bud Candy thing. It is supposed to alter the smell and taste of your buds. I personally stay away from it! I just use CarboLoad which is various sugar forms for the plant to use.

Umm, I'm not really using Voodoo Juice for production results per say. My root mass is huge. I don't really need to work on making them "grow". I keep beneficial bacteria colonized in my reservoir as a preventative effect from harmful anaerobic bacteria and fungi colonizing. Especially for how dense the root ball is. I don't want rot to set in. Atleast not till the last week of flower when I'm flushing. So to me, it is definitely for use at this point. I actually never use it for the purpose of growing huge roots. I use it as an assurance to know what is in my reservoir and not chancing something harmful developing at some point in the plants life. The big roots are just a plus, tbh. Preventative measure > Solving a problem.
Yeah, I'm not using BC after this grow. It's weird and I don't like it. I like the natural smell and taste that the plant produces. Anyone want my Bud Candy??

I dont like the bud candy either, I quit using it and switched to carboload for the last 2 grows. It seemed to make both Ice and Kush have a similiar taste and sweet smell and since I switched to carboload they have seem to take on their own unique and pungent smells...especially Kush. Also my Master Kush has a more earthy taste.
I could never get the 3 part down, especially trying to go off of the A/N schedule, I recently went to Sensi Grow for Veg and Connoisseur for Flower and I am having alot better results. I found the 1-1 Ratios to be way off if not using B52 as a supplement. I Cut the B52 out and switched my base to 1-2 Ratio in Veg and 1A - 1.5B - 1.5 Big Bud / Overdrive Late Flower Spiked with Cal/Mag. My water to nute uptake stays perfect every night with straight H20 addback and PH is stable as well. My Ice has drank exactly 2 gallons of water from day 1 in flower.
By the way Prompts for nailing your first DWC...Looks Great!

I think ^Slanty made the suggestion to carboload too. I'll probably end up checking that out as I like the idea of a heightened carb diet in flower, but don't want the artificial smell and flavor that comes with it. Yeah, the 3-part is kind of a pain. I don't bother to use their schedule anymore. It just fries your plants, imo. I don't ever go above 2ml/l in my grows now with the 3-part and the additives. Maybe with the bennies depending on what is going on in the reservoir. I was running almost 4ml/l of Voodoo Juice towards the end of veg into flower. Ultimately, I've found that working with PPM's is easier though. Less guess work, imo. I need to get a TDS pen for my next grow. It sounds like your getting dialed into your nutes though. That's awesome. Happy growing man!

Roots stop growing in flower around week 2 or 3 so voodoo juice is pointless. I stop using it first day of flower and just use Aquashield from there on, its WAY less expensive.
