Hi all, i have a bit of a weird question that i can't seem to find an answer for on the net. There has been a few grows of the same big bud/white widow plants by friends and after vegging to say 8" and then flowering they all end up about 2ft, which is 3 times the size, quite normal and as expected. However, another friend is doing the exact same plant, exact same cuttings etc etc, he veggies a bit longer in search of maybe 2ft 6" harvest size, but for some strange reason his plants never ever even double in size let alone treble like everybody else that is doing? Its crazy, happened to him 3 on a row but every single other persons was normal? 600w hps, 1sqmish, 24 degrees celsius day, 18 night, good vents, its all proper, no other strain does it to him in same grow room???? Anyone got any crazy ideas as to what this may be? Maybe lights i say? Has it about 16" away from top of plant , u can do hand test for a min and it still aint too hot, in vegging its a 125w envirolite blue 18hrs, the thing is he always puts the lights as close as he can but he does do it pretty much from the beginning, ie as soon as he switches too flower its 16" away? I dunno, he says that fine as the temps are always good, he never gets any heat burn or leaf edge curl? I give up, sorry for the marathon post! Peace!
