Plant growth issues

im going to post pics with out it in the light when I get home from work. I’m growing in a 2x2 tent haven’t had any real heat issues the past few days it’s been hard to keep the temp down due to the weather outside and my house ac not working properly but this plant hasn’t grown normally since it first sprouted. It sprouted with the seed still on top of it and I pulled it off after it didn’t shed it for 2 days. My plants Are week two day 4 of veg and I’m following the fox farms nutrient schedule as well as using fox farms ocean potting soil with kind soil super soil on bottom. This is my first grow I alway make sure my water has a ph of around 6.0 when i water them. I don’t have a soil ph tester yet it is in the mail as well as a new light and I’m also leaving my light on 24 hrs a day until flower then 12/12 I’ve read a lot of different things and just looking for some advice. I’ll post pictures of my whole set up after work as well.

FFOF is a water only soil for the 1st 4 or 5 weeks of veg before starting the use of fertilizers.
If it was me I wouldn't run 24/0 I'd give them a break.

I see, should I go like 16/8 on the light? The other plant seems to be loving it and is growing amazingly in my opinion I’ll post more pics after work with better detail I appreciate the input.

I would go 18/6.
Some like 24/0 and are happy with it. I think most who do are experienced with also growing 18/6.
I like giving the plant a dark period.
This is your 1st grow so I would think growing with 18/6 would be better for a 1st grow.

On the flip side who knows, if 24/0 is working for you maybe it's the way to go IDK.
You can always try 18/6 another time if 24/0 is working.

My babies will be in in a week I will be building my grow space this weekend. I’m just wanting to avoid death within the first few weeks. Thinking my soil will be FFOF with mixture of ProMix HP, ewc, perlite and a little dolomite lime. How did you guys start yours?

I guess there are a lot of mixes that will work.
The OP is using ffof.
Many add 10-25% perlite to ffof and go with that.
I have mixed ffof with pro mix with good results. Both when new out of the bag are already buffered for PH so I don't see any reason to add additional lime.
Lime or oyster shell flower would be added after a harvest when the soil is re amended for another run or when you are building a soil from scratch.
For the OP ffof is the way to go for a 1st grow IMO.
Perlite mixed in with the ffof will help drainage but ffof can grow quality bud out of the bag.

I did have issues maintaining humidity above 40 during these germination and seedling phase idk if this cause it partially or not. I also don’t know if this is a nutrient issue either.

Not bad.
Some stress from getting nutes to soon and maybe from the 24/0.
I usually don't fertilize ffof for the 1st 5 weeks. If you gave it Big Grow early in the grow you probably have a Nitrogen tox. I would just go water only for a while and let it use up that nitrogen.

That looks like some strange leafy growth, weird.

Switch to 18/6 for a week or two. and stop feeding any nutes for 2 weeks. You will see some noticeable growth with it receiving some dark time. If they are only 2 1/2 weeks old, you don't need to be feeding. You shouldn't even be watering that much, to be honest. Soak the soil and let it dry out before watering again. Probably every 3 days.

You think that soil can take me all the way thru harvest want to avoid chemical nutes? I plan on veg for about 3-5 weeks since my space is only 5ft high

IDK!
I rarely have a plant that made it to harvest without being fed.
A super soil may go the distance but I'm not into having a soil super charged to carry it through. I like to feed every month and keep the soil microbes as happy as I can.
Depends on pot size also.
5 or 7 gallon would probably make it to harvest.
3 gallon for me usually needs some feeding.
1st feeding for me in a 3 gallon pot is usually at about 5 weeks.
I top dress at that point.
Worm castings and DTE Bio Live.
Or.
Worm Casting and FF Happy Frog 6-4-4.

Mine like N still in early flower, they lean on the sativa side. Some strains have different needs.

Not at any specific time but this is a small list of what I keep ready if needed during a grow.

Worm castings and a variety of balanced organic dry fertilizer mixes for a balanced feed.

Epsom salt for Mag def.
Blood Meal for a quick Nitrogen fix.
Bat Guano 0-5-0 if needed in mid flower for phosphorus.
Fish emulsion for another quick Nitrogen fix
GO Cal/mag+ if I need a quick Calcium boost.
Gypsum for Calcium but it is slow to release compared to Cal/mag.
Kelp Meal is always a safe addition.
I also use liquid seaweed extract on occassion.

A few other thing probably but I always finish the last 4 or 5 weeks of a grow water only whether they begin to fade or stay green I never fertilize past the 5th week of flower on a 9-11 week strain.
I don't worry about fade. If they are still green at harvest after 5 weeks of water only I'm fine with that.

Great post man I appreciate it a lot. Think I will try to make it all the way and maybe the top dress if they look stressed. I can wait until I can visually what it needs if it does start to wither. But I’m using 5 gal fab pots.

Plant has alot of Nitrogen. I've done light 24/7 and the stress is not usually that bad. If it were me I would slow down on nutes.

Appreciate the replies will post pics in a few days to update going to put on 18/6 schedule and stop nutes for a while.
