plant sex testing

I have used FF last seed run, Of twelve seeds(eight of my own chucking) eight females four males. Five weeks in 12/12 nothing out of the ordinary. Kept one male. All my seeds were regular no fems.

How old was the pineapple gelato plant when you made the cutting?

The reason I ask is that I have seedlings that will hit 3 weeks from sprout later this week and I’m still more than a week away from the seedlings being large enough to take cuttings. But, I should have gender results from Farmer Freeman by the time my seedlings hit 3 full weeks above soil…since tracking shows they should be delivered tomorrow.

The trade off is really time and possibly resources versus cost. Whether the time/resources outweigh the cost is a choice for each grower.

About 3-4 weeks into veg. I topped it down 4 nodes, and used that.
I just rooted another in a shot glass size cup. I took that one from the bottom so it was much smaller.

Just got the results one was a male and one female. was real easy to do. I got some other exotic beans that I wanna pop as well, so will use them again.
