64F is the reservoir temp, not the ambient air temp.64 degrees is pretty low, I'm hoping that the reading was taken at first lights on, otherwise you really need to raise the temps about 15-20 degrees.

Have you used the auto watering system before? If no, did you use any copper or brass parts when assembling it?Hello,
I have a grow going my first in a couple years, I recently hooked up my irrigation, and gave them thier first auto water
That's my reservoir temperature. Room is 81F 65%64 degrees is pretty low, I'm hoping that the reading was taken at first lights on, otherwise you really need to raise the temps about 15-20 degrees.
Nope it's all 3/4 pvc, and the plants have been being fed from plumbing I'm now using for the auto watering I only flipped a ball valve and added 10' of pvc.Have you used the auto watering system before? If no, did you use any copper or brass parts when assembling it?
High EC usually won’t fry them that fast, so I’d suspect something else. FWIW, I run *much* higher feed and substrate EC than you without issue. Good luck!
Yeah, it was just a shot in the dark. Crashing that fast is unusual, not sure what else to offer up. Hope they turn around for you.Nope it's all 3/4 pvc, and the plants have been being fed from plumbing I'm now using for the auto watering I only flipped a ball valve and added 10' of pvc.
I have brass drain fittings in my Hempy buckets, is it likely to cause copper toxicity?Have you used the auto watering system before? If no, did you use any copper or brass parts when assembling it?

I wouldn’t say “likely”, but it’s just a variable that can potentially cause issues. If I was starting from scratch, I’d avoid use but if it’s working for you I wouldn’t sweat it.I have brass drain fittings in my Hempy buckets, is it likely to cause copper toxicity?
Im not a coco guy but in your original post you mentioned unplugging the irrigation and letting the plant dry out as you feared overwatering, thats a huge no-no and dried out coco is bad. Your plant looks like a soil plant left to wither for multiple days with zero water, maybe the roots just dried out too much and got fried, with the high ppms not helping either.Hello,
I have a grow going my first in a couple years, I recently hooked up my irrigation, and gave them thier first auto water the next day one plant was showing signs like I over watered I unplugged irrigation, and let dry out but she just shriveled. I'm in straight coco so I didn't think overwatering was going to be an issue but that's what it looked like to me. Any other thoughts?
