What are the grow media and nutrients?

Using coco coir, calmag plus and canna coco part a and b. They are only 2 weeks old. I planned to feed ph at 6.0 but my ph- didn’t come with my order and ph level is at 7.0 from Tap

Started browning on tips of the older leaves

We’ll stick to your plan and feed at ph 6. Your pH was probably causing you issues. Sort that out and they’ll take off

Thanks dude. Hopefully tomorrow my ph minus will be here, this is my first ever grow, do they look about right for 2 weeks old

Also will this browning on the bottom leaves affect them?

As long as the new growth looks good going forward, they should be okay. Whatever leaves are already showing damage will not improve.

You can use lemon juice or vinegar to ph down too. I've been using ascorbic acid (vitamin C)

Have you checked after mixing nutes? My tap water is pH7.4 and after mixing Canna a and b and procal it sits at 6.1. it's designed to be used with tap water, and buffered to compensate. For example, with distilled water, the pH plummets to mid-high fives when Coco a+b is mixed.

I stopped checking the pH of my mixture after a week when it always came back 6-6.2 when mixed regardless of the source of the tap water.

The pots are too big for the plants. It'll take a long time for them to be able to handle being constantly wet.

Maintaining the proper moisture level will be a challenge........always best to start in smaller pots.

Thanks for the advice. I did look into it first with them being autos I read it would be better to start in the final pot to save having to transfer them. There is so many different ways of doing things I’m still unsure lol. But going to see how they go anyway

That's a stoner myth..........not sure who started that bogus information.
Most auto growers start in smaller pots and transplant.

I'm pretty sure claiming that bigger pots hinder plants is also stoner bullshit. Just keep the medium aerated and moist. Not rocket science. Haven't had a single issue planting in 5 gallon pots from seed, ever.

This is two weeks old in a 5 gal pot.


If I had a dollar for every grower here with a a plant in a 1L pot wondering why it looks like ass, I'd be a millionaire.

The pot size has nothing to do with the yellowing in any way. I've never started in n small pots, and haven't had a single auto yield under 6 Oz so far.

Bigger pots are not the problem.........the problem is the difficulty for beginners to maintain the proper water to oxygen ratio in the medium.
My advice to start in smaller pots was for the beginner OP.........I'm sure you're a good grower and experienced on the correct way to water.
However, I find that over watering is one of the main mistakes that newbies make........starting in smaller pots makes it easier for them.

If I had a dollar for every grower here with plant in a 5 gallon pot wondering why it's so small and not growing...........I'd be a millionaire.

Wow man. I totally disagree. Bigger pots grows way bigger plants. At least in soil. I start clones in 1/2 gal pots and transfer to 15 gals. They get big really fast after they get transplanted into their new homes.

And if you have enough aeration overwatering isn't much of an issue.
