LOLI dont if I ever wanted too i'd just play a ton of marley and collie buddz...matter of fact just a ton of reggae...hah
Lol, imagine if you seen someone talking to plants though..haha i get your co2 point though, but i dont know lol. I have heard the music theory but I dont see how that would help a plant grow, last time i checked my plant didnt have ears..loli dont.. dont see how it would be beneficial at all... i know that talking to your plants and singing to them yourself works as the eat up ur c02... im not expert but thats my 2 cents!
It works with babies bc they are humans with ears and brains and can process sound. Plants are not. There could be some relation to the vibration but its unlikely that it would make a difference unless the music was extemely loud. Even then, it could only be because of the vibrations and not bc of the fact that it is music.i've been playing classical and marley for years to my ladies with great success!! just because you can't see it, doen't mean it doesn't work...i know it's been proven that playing classical music to babies in the woom is beneficial, so why not plants?....i have a huge playlist thats on loop 24/7 in my garden...plants are living things and they respond to the vibrations and maybe even the positive vibes....
Ever heard of "tamping?" It is common practice in many types of construction to use vibration to do the exact opposite of what you have implied. Vibrations move the denser materials closer together and the air and lighter materials up and out. It is probably most common in cement and concrete work where vibration is used to remove air before the cement is left to harden and cure. Any road or land that has a building above it was at one time "super-vibrated" in order to pack and sturdy it.Possibly the vibrations moving through the air and ground cause the stem to vibrate. This would allow the soil to stay loose and air to move between the soil as it vibrates.

word, preach on brotha...i also talk to my plants everyday...some folks just can't believe it if they can't see it!i talk to plants all the time. and they talk back to me. just because a plant doesnt have ears or a mouth doesnt mean it has no consciousness.
I'm not saying stop doing it. You can believe whatever you want. I'm just telling you that it is a waste of time. There might be some truth to vibrations doing something, but half-hour a day from a quiet ipod isn't gonna do it. There's more of a difference in vibration throughout the day by merely comparing a country grow to a city grow. Just because you think it makes a difference doesn't mean it does. There are too many variables that you cant account for. But how about this... You grow a few plants in your house, maybe make a little money. There are companies all over the world making billions from various crops every year, and they invest millions into doing everything they can to improve their operation and make more money with less effort. Can you guess what they're not doing?wow, thank you mr. scientist tdiddy!! it looks like we got a know it all on our hands! plants don't have brains and ears but aren't they living things?? i've known many master growers that played classical music to their plants on some grows and then off on others, and they all swear that the plants with music were healthier and bigger...so i've always done it and my plants are super dank, and don't tell me bout the energy it takes to run a small ipod dock, miniscule...to each his own i guess, but i'll never stop!! peace
