You can get away with using diluted human urine, but feces is another story. It is not good for plants unless you are a strict vegetarian.
Ever wonder why dog shit kills grass if you let it sit long enough? Cat shit is just as bad.

The problem with urine is that it has to much sodium. The other problem is it isn't sterile, urine has a microbial burden, even prior to external epithelial contact. In a healthy person the bacteria is in balance and is not harmful to the individual.

Yep. I was "taught" this in a Bio course during my first yr completing core work. It wasn't until much later on, while making up a MicroBio that it was "broken" down.
