ok so sounds like i should actually be raising my EC nowRe-read note 2
Hey it finally balanced out. the ec is falling the ph is slightly rising and the water level is fallingPPM will go up even with plain water when you add PH up/down buffer solution. It basically adds salts too, just like a nutrient or additive would.
Test a fresh mix and see, before and after adding the down. Then you will also know how much the plant is actually leeching, if it even is, which shouldn't be the full 80 ppm.
Sounds like your water level isn't going down much, or is that just since you added plain water?
You should be keeping notes of all the parameters your tweaking, and try not to make so many changes so fast.
If your following the chart, you should be able to get a handle on it. Unless you have root issues or something. Possibly locked out from the high PH swings, and from not having a big enough res to keep the solution stabilized. Could be your nutes themselves too, especially if they aren't hydro specific nutes that help to buffer the solution..
i keep detailed notes. i wouldnt be able to answer your questions if i didnt lolPPM will go up even with plain water when you add PH up/down buffer solution. It basically adds salts too, just like a nutrient or additive would.

Thank you for the help and ill post some pics of the buds later
I am new to this fyi. sooo
Im getting nute burn and the stems on the leafs are bright green and some are starting to bend up wards. im using cutting edge sollutions, 3 x 5 tent, 5 gallon DWC, 1.5 gallons of RO water, mars hydro ts1000 @ 15 inches above the plant,
"Bullet proof si" 2.5ml
"Micro" 5 ml
"Bloom" 10ml
"Uncle Johns Blend" 6ml
"Cal mag amped" 7ml
"Sugaree" 6ml
I adj my ph to 5.7 evry 6 to 12 hrs
my temps are low 70's with the lights on
low to mid 60's with the lights off.
He's feeding too strong.... increasing heat (whilst correct) will only add to the problem....i can't speak on the nutrients you're using because I've never used any of what you listed, but your Temps are way off for growing under LED. you should be shooting for low to mid 80s under LED.
I started the post you quoted by stating that I was not familiar with the nutrient regiment he was using. My only advice was that stated average lights on Temps were too low for the type of light the OP is growing under, which, as you stated, is correct. Being as others had chimed in and the thread immediately devolved into trolling and bullshit, I never had a reason to get any deeper into it.He's feeding too strong.... increasing heat (whilst correct) will only add to the problem....

hey quick question. how much do i raise my ec by when my plant is telling to raise the ec? ph static EC went up from .300 to .315 and the water level is fallingI started the post you quoted by stating that I was not familiar with the nutrient regiment he was using. i just wanted you to know that i had already done what your asking here and its writen down in my journal. i tested the water before and after adj the ph and it was at 80 ppm for reals. im at 300 right now but this morning it was 315 so im trying to find out how much to raise my ec and ppm because the chart you gave me says it wants a higher EC but idk how much to raise it by at a timeThank you for the help
