No shit about the richest country in the world not being able to afford this, breakfast and lunch too. I know money is need for the wall etc. That apples to Canada too, we are rich enough to afford to invest in the future, if not for compassionate grounds. Education and teachers are the first to feel the heat when governments turn fascist and try to control the narrative and rewrite history or cut civics education. Hungry kids can't learn and if they are not fed then you are wasting your money on schools.

How does the new speaker MAGA Mike feel about school lunches, he wouldn't want to make baby Jesus cry, would he? Another republican who cares deeply for the "unborn" but doesn't give a fuck about them after they are born, thoughts and prayers when they are gunned down in the schools and streets. He cares more about Trump than school lunches for kids.
