My Grandfather was in WWI, and the things he had said were just unreal, All he told us, when we where just kids, it was horrifying he talked about the Germans(Nazi) like they were devils, pure evil.
I would imagine he was shocked people could do things like they did, and we all gathered around the table when he wanted to tell a story about the terrible things that happened there and in his life.

The Pacific was even worse.
 
Today we have come a long way from that.
But we have the Octagon now, if they want to fight put them in the octagon, they will have 8 sides to run to, If they can't get along stick em in there, I think that it would make them think about fighting anymore, put their ass on the line see how much they want to fight.
I know one thing forsure, if you fight with fist blazing and didn't like that person, at the end of the fight both fighters will have a new respect for one another.

I dunno just dunno. but maybe :clap:

Yep, same attitude and low attention span as demonstrated in the health care "legislation". As with healthcare, where this administration will let the system fail before doing anything more, let the N Korea situation deteriorate until war is inevitable.

My uncle was a LT. J.G. aboard the USS Barbel (SS316) which was sunk near the Philippines in Jan 1945. Nine years before I was born. From what I understand, he was the ONLY kind person in my mother's family. I wish he'd lived, maybe my egg donor wouldn't have helped my sperm donor rape me at age 4.

Our military industrial complex needs perpetual war to guarantee profits.

Our right wing political establishment needs them to scare the populace.

Our 'left' political establishment needs them to say, 'look how bad those righties are!'
